I don't usually like to taint internet with my pony artwork (it's something relaxing I like to do privately since I was 13, drawing ponies to vent out and get my head from stress), but screw it, I'm genuienly proud of this one-
Saw lives rent free in my head, but I still struggle alot with drawing humans. I'm... getting slowly better, but it's not on the level "I have idea in my head, let's sit down, pour 2 hours into it and bam, you got an artwork", so I have to settle on drawing ponies instead which I feel much more confortable with.
Billy Mare (Or, Puzzle Piece), was a design I made for Youtooz pony plush contest. While I doubt she's gonna win, I really fell in love with the design and it kinda gave me solution to my problem with finding middle ground between drawing Saw and MLP.
There is no excuse to be using the puzzle piece symbol for autism.
I don't care if you "didn't know." Information is more easily accessible now than ever. Do some research.
I don't care if you "like it more". It was made to dehumanize us. Its very first use by the National Autistic Society depicted a child crying over a puzzle piece to describe and depict how autism is "puzzling" and "brings misery."
I don't care if you "want to assign a different meaning". It is a symbol that has been used to demean us, to hope to "fix" us because we are seen as "fundamentally broken" and deserving to be eliminated from the gene pool. The first association everyone makes is Autism Speaks.
It is a symbol of eugenics that has been sneakily normalized. Do not let it win.
That was embarrassing. Let's hope no one else in the town saw you mess up.

Nopony important, hopefully.
