"What the hell do you want, Atem?" Can't you see I'm busy?
"Don't talk bullshit, you are just talking about boring things with rich people."
And that was true. Seto and Mokuba Kaiba were hosting a private party to meet new potential business partners. The garden was delicately decorated with blue, white, and silver ornaments; There was a large table with delicious food and drinks. Three statues of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon with the Kaiba Corporation badge were placed around the tent giving an extraordinary view. A lovely scent, a mixture of freshly cut grass, jasmine, and roses, was floating in the air.
"This is a business party, that's what I have to do, idiot. Just tell me what you need and leave me alone".
Atem was about to complain about Seto’s response, but the handsome guy that he saw near the door of the mansion was fading from sight.
“Him!”, Atem says tyring Seto by his tie, “Who is he?”
“That’s all?”, Seto murmured a bit exaspered, “I’ve had talked about he in our videocalls around a dozen of times before you came back to the city. He is Yugi Mutou, one of my best workers. He didn’t want to come, Mokuba had to insist a lot but he haven’t talk to anyone. So, why don’t you go to bother him and let me work in peace?”
“If you are interested in him, just go”
“I didn’t realize that my best friend is a coward now”, Kaiba said with a smirk.
“Repeat that! You son of a…”
“Atem!” Mokuba came over with a big smile and put an arm around Atem’s waist, “Let me introduce you someone, he has been a bit lonely the whole party. Maybe you can make him feel more comfortable”.
And saying that, Mokuba brought Atem to Yugi.
“Nice to meet you”, Yugi said with a soft smile after a small reverence.
So…this is what they call “love at first sight”…
