Yugi looked out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the Pharaoh, who sat next to him. They had been attempting to watch a movie, but the man next to him, was starting to doze off, again. ‘He works himself too hard.’
Turning to face the now solid Pharaoh, a smile on his face formed, as he watched the head bob up and down, trying to stay awake. “Pharaoh?”
“Huh?” The Pharaoh jumped lightly, shaking her head, and turning to face Yugi. “Did you say something?” He spoke with a sleepy tone in his voice, he was holding back a yawn as well.
Yugi could only laugh. “You’re falling asleep, maybe you need to go to bed.”
“No, no, I’m fine. Let’s finish this movie.” He turned back to stare at the tv screen for a few moments, until he started dozing off again. “Okay, maybe I need to wake myself back up.” He said as he turned to face Yugi once more.
He shrugged his shoulders. “Maybe. Hey where are you going?” Yugi noticed that the other was beginning to stand up. To stop him, he placed his hand on the Pharaoh’s arm, holding tighter then he probably should. The idea that the man in front of him was solid, that he could touch him, blew his mind. He couldn’t help but not let go, not yet.
“I’m going to make me a cup of coffee, that should wake me up.”
Yugi shook his head. “No I got a better idea.”
“What is that?” The Pharaoh quirked a brow as he felt Yugi’s arm urging him to sit back down. Which he did.
With a small smirk on his face, Yugi gave one last look before he moved. “This!” Was all he said as he jumped on the Pharaoh, pinning him to the couch, his fingers finding the man’s side.
Struggling to get away from the fingers, the Pharaoh tried not hold in his laughs. “No, stop!” He cried out. “No, please.” That time was more of a bed.
“You can’t stop me.” Yugi laughed, his fingers still at the man’s sides.
“Please.” The Pharaoh began to laugh and he went to reach Yugi’s wrists, only leaving his under arms exposed. “I’m awake, I swear. I’m awake!”
“This war is mine!” Yugi declared, moving his fingers up to the Pharaoh’s armpits.
As he struggled to breathe and not laugh, the Pharaoh took Yugi’s words to heart. After all, it was just a game, and the idea came to him quickly. “Oh that’s it.” He said between laughs.
“What do you-”
Before Yugi could finish his sentence he was laughing, the sensation of fingers on his stomach, stopped him dead in his track. “No!” A squeak escaped his lips before he, and the Pharaoh, fell onto the floor with a loud thud,
“What’s the matter, Yugi?” The Pharaoh laughed as he began his revenge. “Can’t stop me?”
“Cheater!”
“Not cheating, just found an opening.”
“Gah!” Yugi gasped when the Pharaoh had moved to just below his armpits, the most ticklish spot of him. “No please!”
“Boys!”
The loud, demanding voice, pulled Yugi and the Pharaoh from their tickle fight. Both looked over and saw Yugi’s mother in the doorway.
“What on earth are you two doing?” She demanded.
Looking at each other, the Pharaoh noticed he was straddling Yugi’s hips, his hands under the boy’s arms. Yugi laid under him, his face flustered and red, his arms, just a moment ago, was on the Pharaoh’s chest, attempting to push him off.
“Uhm. This isn’t what it looks like.” Yugi shouted so his mom would understand.
The Pharaoh moved as quickly as he could. “Yes Mama. We were only playing.”
“We were tickling each other.” Yugi added to what the Pharoah was saying.
“Uh huh.” Mama Muto folded her arms over her chest. “Well if you two are done tickling, I need help with dishes.”
The Pharaoh stood up. “I’ll help.”
She shook her head. “No, you helped last time.” She sent a glare to Yugi. “Up. Now. Kitchen. I’ll wash, you dry.”
As quickly as she spoke, Yugi was up and out of the room, bowing to the Pharaoh with a quick apologetic look. “I’ll see you upstairs.” Was the last thing he said to the other.
“I’m sorry if we were-” The Pharaoh tried to speak, but Mama Muto stopped him.
While shaking her head she spoke. “It’s fine, you two were having fun. But next time, take it to your room. Okay?”
“Yes ma’am we will.” The Pharaoh did a bow and headed up the stairs. “Night mama!”
“Night Pharaoh!”
