So I’m trying to plan out all the places I wanna take Skye and Kade when Skye comes up to visit and I thought I had my shit all figured out like Penn --> Walk thru Chelsea --> Chelsea Market --> Walk down 14th St --> Union Square --> St. Marks food tour 

But I just remembered the South Street Seaport. And how much I fucking love the view and how gorgeous it is. But I’m not sure how I can fit it in? One of the places on St. Marks we wanna eat at isn’t open until after 5PM so like I guess we could just take the 2 or 3 from 14th to the Financial District and then just back track on the 4 or 5 back to Union Square but it feels so roundabout at I just...ugh. 

It’s bad enough I can’t brag about my favorite pork buns in Brooklyn Heights or the cool area under the bridge. I mean like, I could play a little more if we went in through Brooklyn but NJT doesn’t go into into Brooklyn. I mean, I could fit both easily if nobody minds crazy twirly backtracking and stuff. 

I JUST LOVE MY CITY SO MUCH OKAY. *punches wall*

Things get better. I know that that’s so cliche, but I mean it. You get out of the household where she hurts you. You get an apartment, a best friend who treats you like a goddess, a small collection of friends. You start working at a job you love and you’ll stay there. Not just a year like you did with every job before, but you’re there at three years and you’re a prospective choice to be promoted soon.

No matter how horrible home is right now, you get out. You went through so much, tried a lot of horrible things on yourself because you don’t care, but you get better. You see a doctor and they help. I know you don’t believe doctors will help because they never did before, but they do. I promise this time it’s worth it. Your emotional state gets better than it was.

Everything gets better.

Just let it get better first, you have to wait.
