Aside from the above, this post is made to explain Félix more than fanfiction writers make him. You all make him way too kind and nice for his own good.
Who is Félix?
Félix was the original Chat Noir. Before our beautiful banana sunshine cat child came to exist, we had an espresso cat child (originally seen here). He is the cliche anime character, always cold to the protagonist. He was tricked by Plagg into wearing the Cat Miraculous and will do anything to get rid of it. In this universe, the PV universe, the Miraculouses are stuck to their users and the powers of the Miraculouses affect their holders outside of being transformed. For example, Félix has bad luck every single day because of Plagg.

Personality
Félix is cold. He does not like people at all whatsoever. If it walks on two legs and speaks a human language, he hates it. If you take a look at his clothes, you will notice that they are all dark colors and cover him very much. A close observation reveals that the black sleeves of his shirt cover the bases of his hands which is just so cute. This means that Félix is a very closed person, or that he is hiding something.
Félix resents being Chat Noir. As Chat Noir, he is very cat like. He does not care about saving Paris, just saving himself. Some speculate the reason that Plagg chose Félix is because of how Félix would combat the bad luck outside of being Chat Noir; whenever Félix becomes emotional (i.e. angry, annoyed), he confines his emotions and does not let them take control. This would lead to more focus on whatever task is at hand. It is speculated that Plagg has gone through many Chat Noirs who have become over excited about being a hero, leading to their untimely demises due to lack of control over the bad luck. If Plagg doesn’t want to lose any more kittens, it makes sense that he would pick someone with much control over his emotions.
Please note that when writing Félix becoming less cold/falling in love/having a complete personality change, he will have to go through a major story arc where he can see the errors of his ways and that he has the right to be more open than he is.
Outfit
Q: Why are you putting an outfit section on here? Doesn’t the Wikia have that?
A: No, it doesn’t because I’m the one who came up with the appearances sections and no one has touched the Quantic Squad since long before I became Admin. Note to self: edit all of the QS’s pages.
As Chat Noir, his outfit is entirely black, obviously. His suit is even more form-fitting than Adrien’s. (Félix has an eight-pack. Félix is absolutely shredded.) His belt tail wraps around his waist twice, criss-crossing in an “x” in the front. He has a large silver belt buckle in the shape of a cat’s head. Félix’s bell is extremely large compared to Adrien’s. Félix has toe beans. EMPHASIS ON THE TOE BEANS. Félix’s hair becomes even more unruly than when he’s not transformed. It is super wavy and fluffy and gorgeous. His cat ears are entirely functional.
As Félix, there are three or so different outfits though only one is shown in the PV. His main outfit is a light-gray button up underneath a gray vest with black slacks and a black tie. In a second outfit, Félix’s clothes are the same except that he lacks the tie and the vest, wearing a windbreaker over his clothes. In his third outfit, everything is exactly the same as the first outfit, except he has a black shirt underneath the light gray one and it covers his neck.
Also, Félix’s eyes are a desaturated green. His ring is in the shape of a cat’s head with jade eyes and a ruby gem in the center of its forehead. It is completely black.
Bridgette
Félix does not like Bridgette at all. She stalks him. Whenever Bridgette tries to give him advances (such as tickets to a concert), he spurns her, or his bad luck kicks in and turns her away (such as an apple landing in her face). Use this to your advantage as comedic relief.
Ladybug
Félix doesn’t like Ladybug either. He’s only using her to get rid of his Miraculous. Since the Cat Miraculous is stuck to him and ruing his life with bad luck, his only option to be free is to have the bad luck neutralized. This would be with Ladybug’s good luck. In order to have the luck neutralized, he needs a kiss from Ladybug. He cannot just arbitrarily steal a kiss; it has to be given freely by Ladybug. The way he goes about to get this kiss is by giving her overenthusiastic, cliche, and obviously false romantic overtures, such as by giving her a rose while on one knee at the Eiffel Tower. (If you saw some of the older fans squealing when Adrien as Chat Noir gave Ladybug a rose in Antibug, this is why. Those fans have been waiting for nearly four years for that scene.) By trying to manipulate Ladybug’s emotions, Chat Noir is effectively her most dangerous enemy.
Likewise with luck neutralization, Ladybug and Chat Noir cannot work well together unless they are touching each other in some way. Chat Noir’s bad luck affects Ladybug greatly, and it can be assumed the same goes for Ladybug’s good luck with Chat Noir. Either the two of them fight together while holding onto the other one, or one of them stands off to the side, observing.
Active AUs
The Twins AU is the most popular AU where Adrien and Félix are twins. In every iteration of this AU, Félix loves Adrien; Adrien’s the only person Félix can stand. He also doesn’t like the fact that he has to go to school, but he goes anyway because he can’t stand being without Adrien. He’s very clingy.
The Siblings AU is gaining more popularity. In every iteration of this, Félix is the older brother of Adrien and is Chat Noir with a younger Marinette. (The main creator of this AU has Félix call Ladybug, “Babybug.”) Adrien doesn’t necessarily know that Félix is Chat Noir. However, Félix gives up being Chat Noir and passes it down to Adrien, training him along the way.
These are not all of the AUs that exist with Félix; these are just the most popular. There are some occasions where Félix is the previous Chat Noir a generation ago, or that he is Chat Noir in the next generation. The idea of an AU, an alternate universe, is that nothing has to be canon and that everything can changed.
