Junghwa steps closer to them, slowly, reaching his hand out to them. “At least it was only months, not centuries.”

The boatman let out a long sigh as he pushed his way along the familiar rivers of the underworld. Most days it was the same- ferry the souls in, carry some to their final destination, and occasionally get some rest, though that wasn’t often. But days like today always broke that stagnant routine. He’d already made the arrangements for his underlings to carry out his duties, something they did from time to time when he wanted sleep, as he carried himself down the river to where he was needed. It was days when the small warlock made an appearance that the old ferryman was able to find a little amusement. “You know.. the Stygian marsh can be very dangerous..” he called out, Charon stopping his skiff behind where the young man was stuck on a bit of sold ground in the boggy area.

--- finally having a day off together in what felt like ages, sehun and nico had agreed to go out for a bit and ended up at one of the malls down town. not a whole lot was going on, them mostly just dressing each other up in clothes and enjoying each other’s company. it was nice -at least sehun thought so - to go out  and have such an innocent date after all the shit their relationship had been through.

however, things began to change when sehun caught scent of a certain someone he hasn’t seen since they were small. with nico trying to show him something, sehun took off in a run. he goes out of the store, into a few others as his eyes scan the areas quickly. at this point he knows he’s long gone from nico and honestly sehun’s not sure where he is, all he knows is that the scent was in this particular store, and it was strong.

It had been some time since the singer had seen Sei. It seemed like every time he tried to call or visit, the small vampire was busy or wasn’t at the private apartment that served as his get away. Hell it was now Myou’s get away from it all as well. The singer couldn’t help but think it was his fault after the last time he’d seen the elder. Maybe he’d pushed too hard about touching the other more intimately, despite how much to the smaller had told him it was okay and needed to get used to being looked at again. But now that there had been no contact for weeks, he was sure it played some role in why he’d heard nothing from the other. 

It was his third time walking past the large apartment building, a habit these days, when he saw a small light in the familiar window. The large man almost sprinted inside, climbing up until he was at the vampire’s door. “Sei!” he called out, knocking a little roughly on the door. “Sei, I know you’re in there.”

“Honestly though, did you ever think we’d just sit around indoors drinking alcohol like this? because I sure as hell didn’t expect us to be like this.” Noah points out with a small grin before he brings his glass of whiskey to parted lips. The light, warm, sensation in his chest is pleasing. Just what he’s looking for when he’s had a bad week. “I though we would have tried to murder each other by now. Pleased that we haven’t though, you are way too much fun to go to waste like that. Maybe one of the few things I’d regret, actually.” He then admits with a brief chuckle, stretching his shoulders a little as making himself more comfortable where he sits. “But on the other hand, I don’t know what you expected from this... strange relationship in the first place. Care to share?”
