A Look Back at Batista’s WWE/Professional Wrestling Career:
1. Early Career/Training (1999-2000) (Trained by Afa Anoa’i & Marrese Crump)
2. Signed to the WWE under developmental in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) [2000-2002]- former 1-time OVW Heavyweight Champion
3. Debuted on WWE’s main roster in 2002 and had some early storylines from 2002-2003
4. Joined Triple H, Ric Flair, & Randy Orton in the stable known as “Evolution” from 2003-2005
5. By 2005-2008, he had left “Evolution” and went on the hold the World Heavyweight Championship and becoming a huge star
6. By 2009-2010, he had also captured the WWE Championship and was an enstablished star at the time
7. Then in 2010, he had left the WWE
8. Then in 2013, he had returned in the WWE and had another run there from 2013-2014, then left the WWE again in 2014
9. Then in 2018, he had returned to the WWE but in a one-time appearance at the SmackDown 1000th Anniversary and had a reunion with “Evolution” stable-mates, Triple H, Ric Flair, & Randy Orton
10. Then also in 2019, he had returned again in the WWE on an episode of “Raw” on Ric Flair’s 70th Birthday Celebration where he attacked Ric Flair and called out Triple H for a match at WrestleMania 35, where he ultimately lost, but that match would go on and would be his last match before retiring
11. Now in 2020, he had been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and is pretty successful movie actor, most notably been in the Marvel Films like the “Avengers: End Game” & the “Guardians of the Galaxy” series as the character “Drax the Destroyer”

1. 2-time WWE Champion
2. 4-time (WWE) World Heavyweight Champion
3. 4-time WWE Tag Team Champion (3 times for the World Tag Team Title lineage & 1 time in the the WWE Tag Team Title [now Raw Tag Team Title] lineage)- 2 times with Ric Flair, 1 time with John Cena, & 1 time with Rey Mysterio
4. 2005 & 2014 WWE Royal Rumble Winner
5. 1-time OVW Heavyweight Champion
6. PWI’s 2005 Most Improved Wrestler of the Year
7. PWI’s 2005 Wrestler of the Year
8. Ranked No. 1 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 2005
9. Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s 2005 Feud of the Year- against Triple H
