Hi there! Just curious, why do people or ounce or write a word that has r as w when they're imitating Matt? Example: Pwoper 😂
Hello my darling :)well, matt has always had a bit of a problem pronouncing his r’s and so on a lot of occasions (or on most occasions) when he says a word containing an “r” it comes out as “w” instead (like “weally?”, “Chwis” and “Bwitish”).the jokey side of this comes from the Hullabaloo DVD extras footage of when the members of muse are out fishing and matt says “look dom, i caught a pwoper fish!”. that’s when the muse fandom started joking about it.there’s also the, to many musers embarrassing, “pwoper phase” which is when you use the “w” pronunciation extensively in every sentence or on social medias outside of the muse fandom without irony. it’s basically the “omg i’m so random” phase in this fandom.have a lovely day/night and cuddles to you<3
