Exam season over, Poppy could finally relax and take time away from her college studies. She beamed to New York ( the human way wasted too much time ) with plans to surprise her sister. Despite being able to see each other within seconds if they wanted, she hadn’t seen much of PJ lately, and she wanted to change that. Ted knew of the visit, and was the one to let her in. Poppy quickly made herself at home, waiting for PJ to finish her shift at the ER.

  The commotion was loud enough to be heard over the running water of the shower.

            “ Mom? Was that you? ” 

 With receiving no reply, she shut off the water and wrapped a towel around herself - having to deal with the embarrassment if a demon was there. It was unusual for there to be an attack so late, but not unheard of. She couldn’t stop thinking how cliche horror movie her actions were, but she also couldn’t help but to be curious. Poppy was a cupid-witch, what could go wrong? She turned the handle of the bathroom door and slowly opened it, jumping when finding what must have been making all the noise right outside the door.
