@pxis​ sent:  how long has he wanted to do this ? too long , really . how long has he been in the closet ? too long , too . he blames Robin for helping him out of it . really he thanks her for letting him out of it , because she's the one that's seen him staring at Eddie for too long . so that's probably how he ends up with fistfuls of Eddie's hair , cornering him at this party , lips locked together . somewhere , he's pretty sure Robin is saying ' FINALLY '

                              FRAT   PARTIES   ARE   NOT   HIS   USUAL   SCENE   and   he   still   has   no   real,   logical   reason   as   to   why   he   agreed   to   come.   Chrissy   asked   him   to   come   along   since   she   firmly   believed   he   needed   to   expand   his   social   circle.   The   two   of   them   had   been   close   since   high   school,   Eddie   ever   grateful   for   the   fact   she'd   stood   up   for   him   against   the   assholes   surrounding   them   after   he'd   helped   her   out.   Eddie   was   also   not   a   college   student   but   it   was   easy   to   sneak   onto   the   campus   when   you   were   friends   with   a   student.   Unfortunately,   Chrissy   had   soon   abandoned   him   for   a   pretty   girl   she'd   had   her   eyes   on   for...awhile.   It   seemed   that   not   just   students   were   at   this   frat   party,   but   a   bunch   of   locals   as   well.   

One   of   them   including   Steve   Harrington   and   Eddie   tried   really   hard   not   to   notice   him.   He'd   had   a   crush   on   the   guy   for   ages   but   he   was   pretty   sure   Steve   was   straight,   if   his   dating   life   was   anything   to   go   by.   From   what   Eddie   had   been   able   to   glean,   Steve   played   the   field   regularly   and   left   a   trail   of   broken   hearts   in   his   wake.   Hetero   dudes   were   the   worst   sometimes.   

So   when   Steve   approached   him   (more   like   bodied   him   into   a   corner)   and   kissed   him,   the   taste   of   liquor   on   his   lips,   Eddie   had   been   a   little   more   than   surprised.   Fingers   were   in   his   hair,   Steve's   tongue   in   his   mouth,   and   instead   of   pushing   him   away   at   first,   he   grabbed   his   hips   and   pulled   him   in   closer.   It   was   only   when   he   needed   to   breathe   that   he   broke   the   kiss   and   forced   him   back   a   couple   of   inches   so   Eddie   could   look   at   him.      

❝   Jesus,   Harrington,   ❞   he   gasped.   ❝   If   you   wanted   to   make   out   with   me   all   you   had   to   do   was   ask.   ❞   Eddie   wouldn't   have   said   no.

Pain. There’s nothing but excruciating, all-consuming pain ripping through his body. His skin feels like it’s on fire, and Bucky has to keep himself from attempting to peel it off of his bones with his fingernails. He doubls over and grits his teeth against a scream as another bout of pain tears through him, driving him to his knees. Beneath him, the forest floor is cool and he can smell the rotting vegetation. He can hear the sound of an insect’s wings flapping from yards away. Everything is too intense and it rocks through him like an earthquake. 

Overhead, the full moon shines through the sparse canopy as though it’s taunting him. He can feel the pull of it in his bones, an his heart is hammering so fast in his chest Bucky’s sure it will burst from his chest. He clenches his teeth again, presses his hands into the ground, fingers digging into the soft dirt as something inside of him pops, then cracks. His bones are shifting, his organs are moving, and all he can think about is the pain pain pain. 

Then he doesn’t remember anything at all.

The first thing he hears when he wakes is the sound of a stream. Bucky’s eyes flutter open but his vision is blurry at first. It takes several moments before he realizes that he’s in the woods, and he can’t remember how he got there. His entire body hurts, as though he’s been run over twice. He groans as he moves to sit up, bracing himself on his hands. There’s a metallic taste in his mouth, bitter and coppery. He wonders if he bit his tongue but it doesn’t hurt. 

Bucky brings a hand up to rub down his face and that’s when he notices it.

Blood. 

Blood on his hands. Blood on his chest. He’s not wearing any clothes and his bare skin is streaked in the stuff. 

Panic sets in and he gasps, a shudder of terror moving down his spine. He scrambles toward the stream and thrusts his hands into the cold water. It turns a sickly shade of pink as he scrubs at his hands until the skin is raw. The entire time he’s biting down on his lip and tears sting his eyes. 

“Ohgodohgod,” he says over and over again.

the god can't help his hands as they curve around the assassin's hips , drawing him in slowly . " you think too much , " he murmurs , and leans in slowly . curls of blond rest over his forehead where they've escaped his braiding , but he doesn't much mind it as his lips find Bucky's carefully . Thor isn't one to keep things to himself ; he wants the other , and shows it in his very affectionate kissing .

Lips part and he’s about to say something. Whatever his first thought is that comes to mind, but that idea’s cut short when hands draw him in and the god leans in--all he sees is a sea of blue in the thunderer’s stare and all he can feel is the heat from the other’s presence coming in close enough to devour the rest of his senses. The nearness turns him inside out, drives any thought of wry comments to mask self-doubt of being needed by Thor like this--right out off his tongue. Instead, he rakes it over his bottom lip before both are captured in a kiss that he returns as arms lift and wrap around broad shoulders. Rippling through him, the sensation of lips grazing over his causes his breath to hitch and toes curl when the feeling bottoms out to the end of his limbs. Christ. All that and just a kiss? He’s screwed.

so this is a doodle from our mcreyes rp. sometimes when you feel unwanted, you’re really just isolating yourself. and if you’re lucky, someone will prove it to you.

The days blurred together. The Winter Soldier would not have been able to tell someone what day of the week it was if asked. The facility where he had spent the last several weeks (months? years?) allowed no sunlight in so it was often difficult to tell if it was day or night. His internal clock had long since stopped working. Not that it mattered since he was in Hydra’s most clandestine facility for one purpose: to comply. 

Whoever he had been before the Winter Soldier, he didn’t know. He remembered waking in the facility, a rubber piece in his mouth and a machine clamped around his head. Anything before that was nothingness. He couldn’t even recall a name, and the scientist and Hydra agents simply referred to him as зимний солдат. It was only through bits of conversation the Soldier learned he was found half dead in the snow, his left arm missing (which had since been replaced with a metal prosthetic), and still alive due to prior experimentation. He didn’t remember any of that either. 

The Soldier soon learned that his role within Hydra was to be an assassin. He was already trained in the art of combat, muscle memory taking over where his conscious lacked. Within a few weeks he was sent on his first mission, which he completed with success and returned to Hydra for routine programming. That was how he spent his days: Mission, programming, repeat.

So when an agent came to his cell that morning the Soldier assumed it was for another mission. Without question, he followed the agent through the facility and to the captain’s office. The agent excused himself and left the Soldier in the room with the captain, two lieutenants, and another man whose back was to him. 

The Soldier said nothing, as was customary for him since he was only to speak when spoken to. The three men whose faces the Soldier could see were speaking in low voices to one another, and a moment later the Captain nodded. He approached the fourth man and explained that they were presenting him with a gift. At first, the Soldier was confused as to what that had to do with him and then it clicked. He was the gift. But why? What could this man whom the Captain was falling over himself for mean to Hydra that they were giving the Soldier to him?

Finally, the man turned and the Soldier could see his face. A sudden image flashed through his mind (a memory?) and he knew this man. He didn’t know how, but he did. Before he could grasp the memory; however, it was gone. 

The Captain turned to him, a litany of words falling from his lips. Words that wouldn’t make sense to anyone other than the Soldier. The trigger words used to make him malleable.

The Soldier looked at his Commander, unsure of how to respond. Thus far, Rogers had made it very clear that the two of them weren’t to be separated. The HYDRA agents kept their distance. They didn’t abuse the Soldier like they once did. It’s hard not to be grateful for that. 

The Soldier turns on his side to look at the Commander, the sheet draped over his waist but leaving little to the imagination. “I don’t think that’s going to be much of a problem,” he says softly. “I think everyone here has a profound understanding that I belong to you now.”

The Avengers compound is something Kate never thought she would actually see. It’s fallen into disrepair since it was no longer used and there’s something almost ghostly about the place. It feels as though someone could still hear the voices and sounds of daily operations if they listened hard enough. Clint brought her here to see what was left behind, in the hopes that none of it would end up on the black market like the Ronin stuff had. 

She believes her and Clint are the only ones in the compound so when she turns a corner and bumps into someone Kate lets out a yelp of surprise. Her eyes snap up to the person - the woman - before her, heart racing from being startled when she realizes just who is standing before her. 

“Oh my God,” Kate says, glee filling her features. “You’re Captain Marvel!”
