It's no secret he's afraid of the Dinobots. He has no desire to catch a ride one ever again--to him, each they're equally huge and terrifying.

So when one raises a blade nearly as long as he is tall, Stinger prepares to run but doesn't get far before the blade is protruding from his chest and Energon has soaked his claws as he desperately tries to get the thing out, to stop the panic and firey pain shooting from his chest. He lets out a yelp when he hits the ground and the thing digs even deeper into his body.

The fact that he'll be awake and fully functional in a few hours (as long as the weapon is pulled out) is little comfort as Stinger's processor offlines to the sound of thunderous footsteps and red optics just above him.
