scarlett was on a mission. one that didn’t involve a stop at target for that matter. ace was refusing to return her pup back to her and she’d had enough. its been a full three months since they’d broken up and she had asked time and time again, politely and at his convenience but to no avail. so she obviously had to take matters into her own hands. the woman truly wanted to bring her pistol and her shotgun but reluctantly, she left them at home. the drive to ace’s home wasn’t a long one but she found herself shaking out her hands as she arrived from how tight she’d been gripping the wheel. two sharp knocks later, the woman was grumbling to herself as she waited for the other to open the door.

              “i think she’s trying to make me believe she made this herself,” alex is staring at the box in front of him, a massive cake hiding inside the fancy packaging. “i saw this on offer at the supermarket last week---and i haven’t seen my mum in the kitchen for longer than two minuts in my entire life,” he’s full on giggling now, shaking his head as he turns towards the other. “what did you get me ?? it has to be better than this please.” he’s about to make grabby hands for something he can’t even see yet, before a thought crosses his mind and a little frown appears on his soft features instead. “unless you didn’t get me anything----which would be okay as well.”

          ' dude it's like one o'clock get up. ' 

   the blonde didn't have much trouble wandering into the others room since the door was unlocked. she had actually considered just letting him sleep but she wanted to go out for lunch and didn't really feel like going alone. she sat down on his bed before a sigh escaped her lips. 

        ' listen man, i want to go get some food and if you don't get           up i will spray water on your face. ‘

‘Ace frustrated by losing a board game or card game to Alex.’

         A smile is lingering on Alex’ lips as he counts the Monopoly money, the other had to hand over for ending the THIRD time on a row on one of Alex’ most expensive streets. The FROWN on the male’s forehead is hard to miss and of course he could take pity on him but he enjoys it far too much to be actually better at something. “Are you having FUN ?? This was a good idea, don’t you think ??”

    "okay you can do this, just one foot in front of the other." the blonde spoke to herself in a whisper as she crept back into the mansion. after her last little excursion with ace, she wanted to try it again - only this time heading out by herself. it was fun but now the real challenge was trying to get back into her room without getting caught by anyone - while completely wasted.

    kira lost her focus for a moment and tripped over her own feet ( she made a mental note that heals were not for her ), and fell going up the stairs. she reached for the railing of staircase but missed, instead hitting a picture frame knocking it down as well. "fuck." was all she could mutter as she gave up, deciding to take a seat on the stairs.

“Why in the hell would I care about who you are?”

    it’s a rare occasion for ships to dock along her beach. technically it isn’t her’s, per-se, but jamie has taken quite the liking to this spot in particular. the rocks that jut out of the island’s floor are smooth enough to sit on, and she does love being above the sea level every once in a while. 

   sailors have never been a problem for her. jamie has heard the stories of how those humans are awful brutes, but from her eyes, they’re no different from her--- besides the legs, of course. personally, she prefers a tail, but to each their own. she often lurks beneath the docks just to listen to their mundane chatter. she’s never actually seen a human before out of fear of them seeing her, but the temptation is overwhelming. those humans are funny; they speak of mermaids and sirens and share old stories they believe to be fake, but they’re wrong. jamie can’t comprehend how they’re wrong in the first place; have they never seen a mermaid before?

    courage jolts in her stomach just enough for her blue hues to peek out from beneath the water. nimble fingers wrap around the dock’s post closest to the shore, and she waits, and waits, and waits until she’s seen what she’s came for: a human.
