Dear Future Me,
Tell me.. How are you doing? How am I doing? I do wonder how we’ll become different.. Looking back to the past, I’ve realized how much I’ve changed in a matter of few months. Are you happy? I don’t know if you’ll be struggling in the same way.. I believe it will always be a part of us. But I like to think you’ve found the spot in which to exist— In which to be content. I’m sorry for the things that will be written in your memory because of my mistakes. But I’ll keep in mind what we’ve always been doing. To live, to learn and to grow. I hope you’ve kept all your friends close. Promise me you’ll never lose them. Don’t ever get your stubbornness and ego in the way. Your friends mean more to you than your pride. I really do hope you’re happy. I’ll do my best to get you there. I hope you’re finally with the one you’ve been longing to be with. We’re hard to love but I hope he’s accepted you for who we are. Hold him extra tight for me and never let him forget just how much you love him.
You could be 5 minutes or 5 years into the future and I’m still proud of you. I can't wait to be you.
