✫:Why you began RPing.

Alright so this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down and I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, I’ll tell you how I became a Rper in the Tolkien community (yes that needed to be done)

So I’ve tried my hand at roleplaying on here before (in the Disney community mostly, I tried as Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet, Meg from Hercules, and Flynn from Tangled) but because of just the sheer size of the Disney community coupled with the fact that I knew nothing about how to roleplay on tumblr, those accounts died rather quickly after I only received like 10 followers in a month and couldn’t keep up much with them. 

Then I was stumbling across LOTR/Hobbit roleplay accounts when the new movies started to come out and I loved the interactions. I was a little conflicted at first because my university schedule is hella crazy and I’m struggling with my classes as it is (this semester especially but that’s just because fall semesters are crazy with band and class and just ugh). 

Let me go back a little bit. I’m not NEW at roleplaying per se, I’ve just never done it outside of my friends. I literally have a 70 page document saved of an email roleplay I did awhile back with my friend about a certain KPop band that I need to finish copying into a fanfiction site. I also have a 100+ page document of a 1D roleplay my friend and I did plus countless short gif roleplays for KPop, another couple 1D roleplays (those are self-insert though) and a long Hobbit roleplay.

I mostly roleplayed to get away from real life (still do). It's my creative outlet while I'm forced to be a technical person in real life. I love to write, absolutely love it, but with my schedule and classes, there isn't much room to do it. It started out as just something fun but then it became a part of me, and I had just this need to roleplay with anyone who would.

That Hobbit roleplay I did with my friend was where Ada was created. I was a bit nervous about sending her into the real world cause I didn’t know whether or not people would like her, that she would be too Mary-Sue. But, after talking to the wonderful mun of thekinddwarf , I decided to take a chance. That’s how Ada was born this past January 6th :)
