Kisara tugged her rain jacket tighter around herself as the thunder rolled overhead, the rain pelting the shelter above her and Yuugi’s heads. Glancing at her hiking partner, she offered a shrug. “At least we were close to the shelter when the rain started... hopefully it stops soon and we can get back to the car.”

Another flash of lightning cracked across the sky and Kisara jumped in spite of herself. She counted the seconds between the lightning flash and the roll of thunder - a trick her father taught her years ago to see how close the storm was - and she gave Yuugi a comforting smile. “Sounds like it’s starting to move away, so we should be in good shape.”

It was maybe 2 am when Ryou Bakura slid through Yugi’s skylight. He thought about going through the window, the easiest way, but Grandpa’s window was too close for comfort for him so naturally it was to the roof he went. He slid the backpack he carried off his shoulders and onto the ground, looking at the bed where his sleeping best friend lay. After pulling out the new Player Handbook, he strode to the shorter boy and reached out and touched him.

“Yugi? Are you awake?”

When Yuugi abruptly verbalized his disagreement about him needing to get up and get ready to go to work down at the studio, he looked over his shoulder at him and smiled lovingly. How could he say no to that adorable face? He wasn't surprised that Yuugi had done this. Ever since the band had started doing well, they saw less and less of each other. And now with the other's career choice, it seemed like their time together was starting to remind them of how it had been before he was granted life again. And who was he kidding? He hated having to leave Yuugi for any length of time, and he knew the Hikari felt the same.

Without any argument, he laid back down beside him as he wrapped an arm around his love and pulled him close, nuzzling him as he spoke, "I guess Inuyasha and Kagome can do some song writing without me for the day. I feel that I have been neglectful of you lately, Aibou, and for that I am truly sorry." He replied, his voice soft and gentle. "Hopefully spending the day in bed with you will somehow make up for that lost time."
