just starting tonight’s coverage of us men’s nationals free skate, and they began coverage with max aaron’s short program, so watching that for the first time (i saw the updates on twitter when it was live). it’s clear he’s put in effort to be more artistic, but ... yeah just don’t like it. 🤷‍♀️ i get the same read as i did four years ago. disappointing for him and his fans, for sure.

made it thru pyeongchang 2018 in one piece, but only just. it's been a long time (since 2012 probably) since I've watched this much of a games, and that's solely because the vast majority of live competition happened while I wasn't at work. and the next two olympics are going to be the same way. lord.
