A few weeks later
Harmony: (strained) And here he is. Zaff talks big, but he can’t do much but talk on the phone anyway.
Zaffre: Harmony, you wound me! Don’t mind her Phoenix. We’ve known each other for years, she loves to jab me. I hear you’re a writer?
Phoenix: Well...I’m not published or anything yet. I’ve written some small stories and worked for our local paper back in Agave Springs. So...sort of?
Phoenix: What...what a weird dream...
Bubbles: Mrrrow?
Phoenix: Well, here we are. It’s going to be different, huh? No more backyard to wander...
Phoenix: Thanks for that. As far as I can tell, everything seems to be fine. i’ll unpack more tomorrow. Thanks for the grilled cheese, too.
Harmony: Oh, no problem. I’m not a great cook, but can do a little. We mostly order food, but with waiting for the movers I forgot. ~laughs~
