I just wrote a piece to this and then pressed something and it boom boom gone. So onward.. LOL... to the fing max on this culprit of "BEGIN AGAIN.” How too true right now. It all flashed before me. Naw, it wasn't genius or nothing, just a simple recipe and an odd bit on the love of fruit salad, and the necessity to begin again every dang day. Here’s what I rehashed… Begin again. Erry day. Here’s a toast to that beginagainbisssh attitude we need to tackle the daily grind, el beast! Alas, whether it may be in the form of a winter deep freeze or the ole summer blues, we all have to begin again each morning, what ever your morning might be. (I'm talking to you Chaka and your never before noon rule). This fruity salad trio slays. An ensalada de fruita mas buena that will boost yo body talk to maximum potential. I found this salad last winter, while binging on Nigella Lawson youtube vids. I’ve made a mini change to her recipe by adding FROZEN MANGO in place of just ole room temp mango. It makes for a slam bam jam in your mouth. Yum. Let’s make it now... LA ENSALADA DE FRUTA MAS BUENA. aka antioxidant fruit salad says Nigella. In a bowl mix frozen mango, room temp or refrigerated blue berries and a whole pomegranate. Eat this. Add lemon or lime juice if you feeling juicy. Add this to yo fro yo cuz you love that stuff, or if your intolerance for lactose is zilch or you just a dairy-free wheelin' chiiiild, then blast off anyways cuz your body will be happy you just gave it special powers. FOOD AS MEDICINE: Mango- Good for eyes and skin, boosts immune system, improves digestion and el sexo. Blueberry- Brain food category! Phytonutrients called proanthocyanidins, BAM! are the antioxidant life-savers that chase down free radicals. Free and radical are often associated with good fun but in this case it means mean ass destroyers of the bodaaay. Pomegranate- A dang straight Super food! Helps protect liver and kidneys (definitely needed in the depths of winter drinking).
