Pyro is a canon disney princess.  I saw what happened to the “We don’t talk about Pyro” animation. Which is incredibly sad, but at least we have confirmation that Pyro is a canon disney princess.   I forgot to charge my usual equipment, so I drew this with my phone and finger, it’s a lot harder than I thought it was. Kudos to the artists that draw with their fingers, it’s so hard.

I'm not sure if I was too on the nose when assigning powers to characters based on people in my family, or if the powers I've given certain characters have influenced the little kids some of those characters are based on...

I did purposely choose powers that matched the personalities of the inspiration, and I made no secret about that. I've even talked with almost everyone in depth about what powers they'd want and what powers would be a good fit both for them personally and their characters roles in the series.

But the cousin I based the ice princess Emailli on (minor character in first 3 books due to being tiny, tertiary character in 4th once she’s older) has refused to hug me (Axandrela) for several weeks because I'm "so warm it feels like burning to death!" And my baby sister who 'feral pyro princess' Saphori is based on took such jokes a bit too seriously this week, and lit the living room rug on fire...

In the earliest versions of Powerless I had the kids getting magically teleported to modern earth rather than just another continent without much magic, and I need you to know that if I had kept that original plot Xandrie's favorite item of clothing would have VERY quickly become one of those D&D shirts that says "I didn't ask how big the room is, I said 'I cast FIREBALL!!!'" and she would wear it unapologetically with fireballs in her hands and completely serious about the amount of property damage in her wake.
