Were the gods of the five wandering stars. They were named Phainon, Phaethon, Pyroeis, Phosphorus & Hesperus and Stilbon. In ancient Greek vase painting they were depicted as youths diving into the earth-encircling river Okeanos before the rising chariot of the sun-god Helios.
