                                                                            ( a failsafe ft. @pyroknight & @kuroiinu )      Oh, this... this was not happening. More than capable when it came to familiarity with Hiraeth’s tests, Emiko had still never seen a challenge like this. Over a year at the academy and they still managed to surprise her, even more so by the ever so annoyingly placed symbol on her academy cloak that indicated she was the team leader for the test. Back turned to her teammates, Emiko chewed her lip for a moment, allowing herself to regain control over her own fears. She hated combat, well and truly, and the gun (paint ball gun) in her hand was a glaring reminder of that.

And yet, she had people relying on her now to keep them safe.

Taking a deep breath, the blond scrunched up her face and puffed her cheeks out, pushing aside her own fears. If she had to fight, she would. It would do no good to show the rest of her team her own insecurities right away. She had to be strong.

“Right! Let’s conquer this maze and be back home in time for supper~!” Emiko cheered, spinning around on one foot to face her team, smile plastered across her face like a bandage on an open wound. She swung her paint ball gun idly, before resting it against her shoulder in an armed position.

“We just have to work together and watch each other’s backs! They’re definitely not above pulling any cheap shots, so stay alert guys. You’ve got a Hiraeth Veteran on your side~!”
