♡ + catalyst!
Since Nox is a pyromancer mostly, her main catalyst is without questions Pyromancy Flame, she got… somewhere and uses in her left hand mostly. She had her staff as an sorcerer apprentice in the Dragon School, but when she got expelled it was taken away and she never really own one later.
At least for long periods of time. She never forgot how to use them for sorcery, but rarely had an opportunity to actually carry one around and mostly pyromanies proven more useful for her.
Paledrake Nox from Mad Researcher AU can’t use pyromanies anymore, but as a… malfunctioning copy of a real paledrake she is able to use sorceries without any catalysts and quite good with them. Especially with ones, based of crystal spells of Seath.
Nox from Dork Lady AU still uses pyromancies, but in a different way that her general counterpart - Pyromancy Flame combined with the awakened, at first by Yoel and later that weird “now you can stab the bride” ritual, Dark Sigil gave her ability to use dark pyromancies with close to no effort and devastating results. And do even more dope anime crap, but let’s cut this part.
🔮
Transposed soul reveals it’s true strength…
A pyromancy flame. Warm light and gentle heat of fire swirling in a palm seems to be quite relaxing. It seems to be so small and fragile by now and yet, the crackle and sparks awake the memories about the great fires of ages forgotten.
((I hope it is fine c:))
So where does a Pyromancer keep their Pyromancy Flame like, what happens after they're done for the day and need to sleep, do they just leave it outside so they don't burn down their house? Do they have a special pouch? What about when you don't have your Flame equipped where does it go? I've been a Pyromancer ever since I played ds1 and I've been wondering where it gets stored ever since
