So obviously establishing one of the greatest empires of the classical world is very based. As is being impressive enough that the Greeks decided that you were single-handedly responsible for everything cool the Persians ever did so they could be racist against your descendants.

And, like, relative to people you could compare him to, he was actually very good! Though I mean, I remember reading a take a while back about how the neo-Assyrians had basically left the region sufficiently traumatized that he had never needed to be harsh while conquering. But idk absolutely anything about that chunk of history, so.

Based and (relatively) good.

Yo for real can we talk about how Dracula and Isaac were the two most amazing characters in S2, because I feel like you could appreciate that.

I really liked them both and their scenes together were absolutely my highlight. Though I admit I miss the proactive (or at least actively invested) Drac from season one. I would have liked to see him more viciously ...doing much of anything.

But Dracula and Isaac shit was so good. Jfc I want to just compile those bits and watch them over again.  Isaac still is hands down the favourite.  So much better than Curse of Darkness Isaac, who was a carbon copy cutout trope of Edgy Anime Violence Pretty Man with admittedly bitchin’ tats.

Animated Isaac is just... Fuckin’ superb you funky lil’ flagellant.

Have you seen this before? How did you hear so much about Krennic if you hadn’t watched Rogue One?

Well, actually as it tends to happen there is a bit of a weird story about it. I have never seen RO before, this I can say with full honesty. 

But, before it premiered I was carefully interested in it, mostly because I thought that Krennic looks cool and I would love to watch a film with him. And in generally a Star Wars movie is a good thing, right? I like SW after all.

Later, although, I found out that: a) there is not as much Krennic as I would love it to have, but okay, I can deal with it; b) I have some troubles dealing with how Jyn voice sounds (I heard it in trailers and videos and such, both Russian and English version) for no reason at all, since I can’t really say what gives me that “can u please stay silent” feeling; c) a friend of mine who I deeply trust with movies summed it as a thing I probably won’t really like in her review; d) there was probably more things, but I don’t exactly remember them right now.

So eventually I hadn’t watched RO until now, but from time to time have seen and read post about it and even reblog some edits and such. Also have general idea about storyline and things like this.

I hope this makes sense.

They drink, but only socially and never to excess. The same cannot be said for the Vornians and a few members of his retinue. He uses no drugs and he is very serious about maintaining his physical health to the point of peak efficiency. He has a morning exercise regimen that lasts about two hours.

//Fair! Oh goodness. 

The reality is she captained the Conqueror, led the World Eater fleet through the Isstvan massacres and through the Shadow Crusade and presumably through the Siege of Terra. Virus bombed Isstvan. Looked on as the Legion brutally steam rolled a dozen worlds between there and Armatura. She’s committed war crimes that pale to any person that has ever lived in real life. The only thing that could make her a worse person legally is if she also went the mad scientist route.

I do believe she did the best she could with the circumstances presented to her(though I can only begin to guess how it was justified to her to kill so many of their own at Isstvan/betray the Imperium beyond ‘Angron has ordered it’) but obviously that doesn’t justify her sins.

So... Fair. I’m not sure that it was unfair that she likely reaped what she helped sow likely either dying or being consumed by the Khornite energies aboard the Conqueror. I would want for her to follow more my ‘Failed Heresy’ AU where the Imperium succeeds and the traitors pay for their crimes and yet live. I probably could even let go the idea that she probably should have been executed for her crimes. She was a good loyal woman, but she chose to be loyal to a man bent on self-destruction. I wish for her happiness, I really do, but for her there would be no peaceful end.
