I was scrolling through the matsuhana tag on ao3 and found a pyunsuke/sousuke fanfic and I'm Not Okay

Technically my fourth Copic marker exercise. I’ve had this done awhile, but I forgot to color the jar and realized it as I was uploading it, so I posted the fifth one first.

I’ve gotten attached to drawing characters who don’t interact much on-screen together. The Free! ES OVA didn’t really deliver with the Backstroke Duo like they said they would. Although, I’m honestly more interested in Makoto meeting Pyunsuke. Not sure where Makoto stands on insects but I imagine having a stag beetle massive-mandibles-first in his face probably doesn’t fly. (At least he hopes to god it doesn’t fly. It does.)

I liked the end card of Momo chasing Ai through the dorm with a giant bullfrog. I have a feeling Makoto gets his share of this too once they start spending more time with each other.

“This is Pyunsuke” may or may not be one of my top five favorite parts of Eternal Summer.
