The release of both “HEDIS N PELLES” and BLING SLIME VØL 1: HØSTED BY DJ HØLIDAY arrives on the heels of the highly- anticipated release of diamond*’s collaborative mixtape with Tezzus, UY SCUTI BØYZ. As founding members of Atlanta rap collective Øway, both Tezzus and diamond* have been consistent collaborators for the majority of their careers. After releasing his breakout single “bada bing, bada bøøm” (3M+ Streams) off diamond*’s debut album nØ idØls, the two were eyed directly by Young Thug. Ever since bringing the duo out for his headlining set at ComplexCon Las Vegas and flying them to Los Angeles multiple times to record music, Thug has proven to be the collective’s biggest supporter. Though each Øway member has an extensive career, diamond* operates as the collective’s glue, pushing his own solo catalogue while consistently providing high-end collaborations with his contemporaries.
