Qalian?

On the Enderal Discord page, on the announcement page, stuemper posted a quote, and a picture of a man named Qalian:

"Qalian couldn't live with what he had done, so he discarded his old skin and slipped into a new one. Now he's Nailaq, vermin, human refuse, who lives to suffer for the sins of his old self." 

German:

"Qalian konnte mit dem, was er getan hatte, nicht leben ... also hatte er seine alte Haut abgelegt und ist in eine neue geschlüpft. Jetzt ist er Nailaq, Ungeziefer, menschlicher Abfall, der lebt, um für die Sünden seines alten Ichs zu leiden."

the more I read the Butcher of Ark books (the Enderal in game books), the more I am convinced Qalian (in-game) was actually the butcher himself (Jael), and the body he left behind IS Qalian.
