NO RINGS FOR YOU!
I WANT TO SAY, I AM NOT BEING PAID FOR THIS ... THIS POST IS REALLY JUST ME VENTING ABOUT AN ISSUE AND PUTTING OUT THERE THE SOLUTION I FOUND.
So ... I’ve seen the silicone rings advertised for a while now, and I have been intrigued by their look, their claims that it’s breathable, safer, modern .... yada, yada, yada.
With all that I’ve seen and read ... I expected it to be FAR less Gender Bias ... because the companies claim to be cool and hip and modern ...
Ah, yeah ... NO!
First I went to ENSORINGS ... they were the first I’d heard of and thought I’d give them a chance.
Not ONE of the ‘Men’s’ rings came in anything but the typical ‘metal’ colors or bland colors ... apparently, Men don’t want anything but Black, Brown or Camo Green.
The only colored ones were for ‘Women’ ... and those only went up to a certain size ... as if Women never have large fingers. (I take a 12 and I know plenty of ladies that have fingers as large or larger than mine).
Even their Stackable Rings ... that they say is ‘For Any Size’ ... only go to like 9, because, again, Men apparently don’t have any fashion sense or ... should be fashionable period.
Then ... I went to GROOVE LIFE ... it was the same damn thing as Ensorings, but somehow even MORE insulting.
The Men’s rings had interesting color ... BUT ONLY ON THE INSIDE! Clearly, they only want to cater to the Snowflake Men who must hide any color at all costs so others only see them as Bad Asses. (Hint Groove Life ... a Bad Ass Butch Guy doesn’t give a rat’s ass what other’s think of them ... they do and wear what they want. Same goes for ‘Real Women.’)
Again, all the Colored Rings were for Women.
FINALLY ... I tried QALO ... AND I FOUND PARADISE!
Not only did they have colored rings in my size ... but one can CUSTOMIZE THEM!! You can engrave them on the inside ... and/or the outside ... and you can even customize the outside texture!!
PLUS AS A BONUS ... THEY WERE THE MOST REASONABLY PRICED!
(Did they have certain styles there weren’t available in all colors? Sure. But even those still came in more color choices than the other companies ... I might get a teal colored ring ...)
So, I finally was able to order a size 12, silicone ring in PURPLE (my fav color)! And I will do a review of it after it arrives and I’ve worn a few days!
