On the night of the 2016 Presidential election, Cass, an L.A. club promoter, takes a thrilling and emotional journey with Frida, a Midwestern visitor. She challenges him to revisit his broken dreams - while he pushes her to discover hers.

The summary is very accurate. The important point is the historical day this movie takes place on. Especially since we now know it got just as bad as was feared.

The agressive tone that often predominates at the beginning felt unusual. It took a while to get used to it.

Compared with other two-handers it puts less emphasis on dialogue, but more on mood and atmosphere.

A problem I had was that, as a viewer, I wasn't allowed to hear a playlist and see a short film that the two protagonists shared. That made it difficult to relate during those important moments.
