do you agree with diana hyde being trans based on textual evidence and vibes?

I wish I had a good defense of her being trans, but I really don't. It's just hard to think of a good explanation for why she would be the only resident of the seaside town of Cauldron who's trans, and likewise hard to think of a good explanation for why GG would portray her as a "regular" woman, whose most bizarre behavior gets talked about as one of her very "strange" flaws, if she were in fact cis and if GG were trying to present a trans woman as "normal." The textual evidence is meager and far from conclusive, and I am leery of doing "vibe" readings on the basis of almost-entirely-textual cues.

yo remember when I posted that amazing, poorly drawn comic about the train robbery? well, I’m making a full comic about that!

It’s called Adventures of QuickDraw Val. It’s an Abba musical, magical girl western. It follows a girl gang traversing the wild west in search of peace, equality, and a set of magical rings. They don't always succeed in their quest for equality and peace, being that it is 1862 and slavery is still rampant in the south, not to mention the Civil War that’s brewing. But they do what they can.

Black Frost the Qwuedeviv, chatting with Jackal Harbinger after visiting the clinic to get some routine vaccines. Seems their species have a…slightly different approach in where they give vaccines.

This has been sitting on my computer for nearly an entire year–well the sketch has anyway. Over the weekend I decided to finish it, lineart and color it. For anyone wondering the premises of it, it was an observation I made when at the vet’s office with my own animals. Namely that they give the dogs shots in their scruff/neck/shoulder regions, and the kitties they give shots to in their hind leg/rump. Since Qwuedeviv are kitties and Qwujakuhl are doggies…I simply had to draw it! It was supposed to be quick….it wasn’t.

Also note worthy, Jackal went through some design changes. Also the first time I drew him with his helmet off. Also there was supposed to be a door in the first panel, then I decided I didn’t want to draw it.
