Stalling in a Cessna 152 with induced wing drop.
A stall occurs when an aircrafts angle of attack exceeds 16 degrees. There’s a high amount of drag and a sudden loss of lift resulting in the aircraft losing height. On some occasions a ‘wing drop’ may occur, while the aeroplane is falling it drops to one side. This can be counteracted by using rudder opposite to the side of the drop. A wing drop cannot be fixed by using aileron, it will likely stall the other wing and induce the drop on that side.
