Hey, I don't mean to bother you or idk if you stopped but I wanna know how Mocha and Coffee treat each child or if they treat them the same.
I haven’t stopped, don’t worry! My plans and hyperfixations have just been all over the place, my brain really likes to focus on anything but Cuphead, so I haven’t been able to update the comic. But I can answer this!
No one child is favored over the others, they are all treated with the same harsh punishments and disrespect. The kids receive punishments corresponding to what they’re most scared of, have habits of, what they hate the most, etc.
!DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OF CHILD @BU$E! Continue at your own risk!
If any of you are in a similar situation or are facing any other types of abuse, PLEASE reach out and seek help if you can. You are NOT alone, and there are many support groups out there to help you.
Cuppachino: She tries to be brave and do her siblings a service by taking the blame when they mess up, so she gets beaten down physically and mentally as a way of trying to break her spirit into submission/into being a “good little kid who follows the rules and worries about herself.”
Mugwoman: She used to be very talkative and outspoken. When guests would come over, she would sometimes spill too many details about their home life, so in response (after guests left), Mocha would take the closest bottle of alcohol and shove it down Mugwoman’s throat because “you can’t talk so much if you’re busy drinking.”
Cuphead: He’s a loud, rambunctious kid, he gets very uncomfortable in smaller spaces and tight crowds, he has terrible terrible claustrophobia. So as punishment when he gets caught doing something bad, he gets locked in the broom closet for a large chunk of time, decided based off how bad he “messed up.”
Mugman: He’s not very out there, he’s a VERY shy kid, generally keeps to himself and loves to read. He doesn’t get in trouble a lot, but when he does, he doesn’t like loud noises, so he gets shouted at, and then has his books used as kindling while he’s forced to watch. Whatever’s left of his things is taken out of the fireplace and used to burn his arms and sometimes his face.
Mocha is a volatile, angry, and terribly terribly impulsive woman, she administers all of the @bu$e. Meanwhile, Coffee ignores it all and is generally a very absent husband and father.
Both parents are horrible to all of them, but the children WILL get out of their situation together and be in a safe and loving home soon. I just have to lock the fuck in.
