Heathers: Not awful, really. My high school was kinda clique-y, but fluid? Like, moving between different groups wasn’t unheard of and people definitely did it all the time. Mostly, I was the smart one that always knew the answer and everyone knew that I knew the answer, so they were nice to me in the hopes that I’d help them, which I did.

Hey, so, weird situation, I haven't watch Pacific Rim because I'm lame and stuff and I'm going to watch it soon-ish I think. But I also really want to read your Pacific Rim AU fic "Halcyon Shock". Does it have, like, potential movie spoilers or anything? Just curious. I've been holding out on reading it so I could watch the movie and I'm almost to the 'fuck it all' stage.

since I don’t use any pacific rim characters, I can safely say no spoilers there. all that is borrowed is the general setting and a loosely similar plot (i.e. people in giant robots fighting giant monsters).

aww yay! thank you! hmm, let’s see.

1. when i was little i had an imaginary friend who was also my boyfriend named jason and he lived in a light pole in front of my house. my older sister never ever let me live it down. anytime she meets any new people in my life or introduces me to people from her life she is always like HAHA GUESS WHAT BEKA DID WHEN SHE WAS LITTLE -_-

2. i saw pat prokop one time in bed bath and beyond and was starstruck. i realize no one will understand this unless they are from savannah. but yeah.

3. when people ask me to choose my favorite things i panic because i’m like how do i choose between the things. and no this is not an opinion. this is a stone cold fact.

4. i didn’t have my first kiss until i was 18 years old. seriously serious. i was very shy and reserved in high school and didn’t really have time for boys bc i was focused on graduating you know? and if anyone is reading this and freaking out like “omg i’m so lame i haven’t even kissed anyone!!!!1″ trust me it’s nothing to stress about. i promise you.

5. i hit the genetic jack pot as far as leg hair is concerned. i mean seriously it’s super light you can’t see it unless i’m standing in the sun so a lot of the time i’ll not shave for weeks. don’t judge me i mean who is really feeling up my legs. no one that’s who. i’m single. anyways on a downside it also means i’m white as fuck and burn to a crisp all the time like i did a couple of weeks ago :(

Manic Taser Dream Girl - 2 & 5. I just finished GoT as well...I feel your pain.

Ugh. I’m still not over it. Hardhome would have been a better GoT season finale. Anywho ;-)

What’s my favorite part of the fic?

Fave part is when Loki is introduced to Earth’s magic and his realization that the universe does not revolve around him or Asgard. Him meeting Eshu was the greatest joy to write.

What part of the fic am I still dissatisfied with?

I wouldn’t say I was dissatisfied with anything or I wouldn’t keep it out there. There are some things I wish I could have explored further, but it would have taken away from the story as a whole. Like, I wish I could have explored Jane, Darcy, and Steve’s friendship a little more, but that’s for another story. There’s also a little part of me that hates that it’s not canon-compliant anymore. It’s def an AU, but if you squinted the right way, it went along with canon up until Age of Ultron.
