The incredibly important Frodo and the elves conversation between qCellbit and qBad. This is a foundational text to me. This is my everything
Also keep in mind that while this is happening, Cellbit is off stream, awake at 3am, and possibly drunk/tipsy
Do you guys ever think about qCellbit seeking validation from qBad, wanting to make qBad proud, and hating himself when it didn’t work like he expected it to. Like a cat bringing a dead mouse to its human, only to see the mouse discarded in front of its eyes. Do you ever think about qBad seeing himself in qCellbit and realising how much he was hurting his loved ones by hurting himself. Being powerless to help. Do you ever think about qCellbit feeling at home in Purgatory. He knows this game, and the person who taught him to play it is right there with him, just on the other team this time. It doesn’t make that much of a difference. So he will be as cruel and cutthroat as he’s ever been, he will be the fighter he was raised to be. But in a moment of quiet, after a temporary alliance with his former mentor, he will still seek that validation. Thrive on the feeling of solidarity they share as ruthless warriors. “It was good to fight by your side again. But watch out! Because I’m gonna kill you next time!”, and it’s all just a game, a playful little nudge, a call for attention. A shout of “See? See how much I’ve learned? How well I’m fighting? How much I’ve grown? I won’t hold back. I know you’re just as cold as I am. Are you proud of me yet? Are you proud of me yet? Are you proud of me?”
AND HGDUO/GOSSIPDUO/QMOCKINGJAYS YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS!!!
At any time of day a part of me is thinking about qCellbit and qBadBoyHalo fighting in a war together and one of them is an immortal demon and the other is a teenage cannibal with amnesia who's never known anything but blood and death. And then 10 years later they get stuck on an island together. And the fact that this is all real canonical information about these characters is making me fucking SCREAM
Does anyone here ever think about qMockingjays and qCatbirds and qCastleduo and qFoolhalo and Spiderbit and .idk man
Idk if hgduo will have a chance to talk ic before Bad dies and resets but if they do the one thing I think that would kill me dead would be Bad saying “By the way Cellbit, the answer to your question is: always.”
thinks about q!hgduo's final conversation before purgatory and how even though it ultimately changed nothing in the end it still said so much about how stubborn they both can be,,, and how little they value themselves alone despite how many people love and care for them... or maybe it's how willing they are to throw themselves into the flames for those exact people even if it's not what they'd want from them.
They both left that conversation shaken by what the other said yet with their resolve to stick to a of path of self-destruction strengthened... And those paths ended with Cellbit lost in purgatory for months under control of the watcher and Bad dying before reviving with no memories of his time on the island... and with the people they love most- their family- Cellbit's husband and Bad's children- suffering the worst- can anyone hear me-
