A one-man creative army, he constructed the film solo in tandem with the recording of the album - offering a deep dive into his process and motivations. Featuring interviews with an assortment of underground Hip Hop luminaries like J-Zone, Louis Logic and PackFM, Polyoptics is the definitive look into the work of an oft-overlooked genre-smashing artist.

Happy Anniversary. 10 years ago. This record gave me a whole different path. Thanks to @substantialmusic for making the intro to @tonedeff (who wore many hats on this) and the QN5 family and fans. Props to @audibletreats for the promo and @datdudebyron for the underwriting. A portion of the mix duties went to @priestdanomad and @chrisgehringer mastered the jont at Sterling. I got mad looks thanks to @danfriedman who worked this record for a minute. @oddisee produced a jont for which I am thankful and the homie @iamaceono as always was the voice I needed to add the sauce. @lindyhops graced the design. This record was about getting older and still being able to make black art; truths and triumphs. This record was cathartic and to this day was the pivotal piece that helped me decide to keep moving forward. Jont still slap.
