I've been holding on to this one for a minute. Way back in the great pandemmy, the good bruv @_marcusjmoore (a multitude of thanks) said he had an opportunity over at @vinylmeplease his thought was to curate the reissue of Robots & Dinosaurs on vinyl. R&D was a pivotal record for me especially having a mid-rapper life crisis. (you can read the full story in Y.A.K when it drops 11.15 {preorder now}) Robots lead to a series of firsts, MTV love, additional global love, new fans, friends and family. shout out to @tonedeff @substantial @iamaceono @oddisee and my QN5 family, @datdudebyron & @dlproduces amazing PR and love from @shellymac_xo @lightoutsrock @danfriedman over @audibletreats and the amazing @lindyhops whose art captured what was happening in my head. This record was about transition and choices, as i move into a new space as an author, have begun the process to facilitate recording a new album, and finding myself at some amazing intersections where creativity, technology, art, finance and philanthropy meet, it's apropos to revisit this celebration of allowing oneself the opportunity to change and step into something new.
