Last night at a bar in Capitol Hill I witnessed blatant harassment and homophobia at a well know gay bar. What was appalling to me was the lack of support from patrons and passers-by. Of course I realized that the bartender was confronting the person alone, taking a pic of the license plate, after the 4th time around the block yelling threats and homophobic slurs. I went to his side, expressed he should not confront someone alone, he thanked me and understood.
