Basically went jousting with him, circling around and just using heavy attacks to take him down. Seeing the range and variety of his moves, going on horseback definitely made things easier since I could just make more space for myself whenever he’s winding up.

Apart from 23 Vigor, I only had +1 to my starting Dex in terms of damage boosting and my sword is still unupgraded. Maybe it’s actually possible to do this at the start once I got my horse, unless the levels I’ve gotten also add numbers to my damage.

All in all, fun jousting match, will do again (got some practice before this with the Nightrider Cavalry in the bridge to the east).

My next project is getting to 20 STR and 14 DEX so I can 2-hand this bad boy

first draft finally done aaaaaaaaaaa

its full of mistakes but i finally got arc zero done

now to reread it and die from what i wrote

then start working on the second draft to fix stuff

It’s kind of daunting to work on the first draft of an original fic I’ve been working on for awhile (in terms of worldbuilding). I can already see all the mistake I’ve done and I’m getting the urge to correct them, but I also know that would hurt my current momentum so I’m keeping any edits and self-crits set to the side until I finish the opening arc.

It’s gonna be a pain once I start editing, hah....
