MYZHARBOT WORKS

finally Pandaboard ES has a stable Ubuntu 12.04 operating system, I successfully compiled OpenCV 2.4.8 and Qt 5.2.1 (no cross compiling, I compiled onboard!!!).

RoboControllerServer runs on the Pandaboard and I can control MyzharBot remotely via WiFi by notebook and by ANDROID!

Also the Webcam server is running and the remote GUI shows the video streaming from the webcam suited in front of the robot.

This is not the final step of MyzharBot project,

I made it!!! Qt 5.2.1 is ready on the Pandaboard ES

It’s been a long war… but finally I did it. My development PC with Xubuntu 13.10 is finally cross-compiling Qt5.2.1 for the Pandaboard ES running Ubuntu Core 12.04… just one night of waiting.

The whole procedure for the preparation of the operating system and the subsequent compilation of QT5 will soon be available online on this site and on robot-home.it blog
