TIL about quadratic voting and Quadratic funding which while I am not radical enough to support replacing our current government with it yet, it does appear to have potential to bring the good parts of the free market (like anyone can participate, good are distributed in proportion to want) to public goods.

This is like actually a novel innovative idea for politics. It may not be a good idea but it is at least novel.
