This week feels short, but very tiring at the same time. On the third week since the classes began, it now feels normal to wake up early and sleep poorly, this is due to the constant academic pressure of what ODL has given not only to students, but as well as to teachers. I can drag ten or more sentences on how it affects people negatively, but I intend to focus on the positive side of how things turned out well for me. The first blessing of the week is when I woke up on Monday and got to eat breakfast with my whole family, we chatted about things that made us worry, and things that pleased us during this time of the pandemic. The second blessing is when I received a message about my examination at the Editorial Board Exam for the Bosconian (school publication), the results are very positive as Sir TJ congratulated us for passing it, and now I am a proud member of the team. The third blessing came on Friday, right after the meeting de avance, it came in the form of another win as the class treasurer for this school year. The final surprise for this week is my favorite Acapella band, Voiceplay, who released a video of their new project, they are still amazing despite the departure of one of the OG in the team, Earl Elkins.
It may seem like I am heavily favored for this week, but I swear, it only balanced out the heavy news for the upcoming week as four of our subject teachers addressed the upcoming quiz for their own respective subjects, not one, two, or three...but four. So in the weekends, I managed to sneak in a little review so I can both be ready and relax my mind. Quadruple threat is real, and it’s coming in four different names! Good luck to us 11-Ferrari!
