15: Have any pets?
Several! I'm one of those people that considers them my children (and I suppose for the most part we did make them so?)
Henri, of course. I remember naming him, laying in the garden for hours until he was brave enough to come say hello - he was tiny back then. I don't think I'd categorize him as a pet, exactly, but I'd be remiss not to include him.
The button quails - Tolya named the original three that I based the others off of, so there's Bottle Captain, Vitruvian Man Two, and Cheez Whizzard (my phone is constantly autocorrecting it to Cheese but I assure you it is Cheez). There are 21 quails in total, seven of each series and the naming trend just follow along with the original three. Vitruvian Man 3-8 are easy enough to remember. The BC series consists of Trashcan Corporal/Cancan, Jar Admiral, Teacup Lieutenant, To-Go Container Colonel, Quart-Cup Private, and of course The General. The Cheez Whizzard series has been more difficult to name because Tolya is better with puns than I am so mostly I just steal ideas from comments they make when I'm trying to make lunch: Grilled Cheesus (Cheesus Christ also works), Chief Boyardee, Ham Burglar (unaffiliated), K-Poptart, Avo Gato, and Peanut Butler. I don't play favorites, of course, but The General and Chief Boyardee like me the best I think.
I have several animals that I've made living at the temple, the residents typically name and care for them though.
Oh! He's not mine anymore but I had a pygmy jerboa named Vincent for quite a long time, he's Antoine's traveling companion now, helping ferry the dead. Apparently he gets lots of compliments, as he should.
