Quantico AIC Theory

Man, my brain feels like goo after last nights episode....

First things first, Lee is definitely AIC material. Not only has she manipulated her fathers past to keep him off of the field as a CIA agent but she’s great at making people believe she’s something she is not, which is plain CIA. I think SHE is the person recruiting AIC agents and this is why Alex never had a chance to go undercover, Lee knew that she was FBI all along and that she would threaten the AIC plans.

But who is helping Lee? That is the question.

This season every single character (besides Alex) is a suspect and it’s hard to narrow it down. However, I have my bets on Leon. He has more to lose than the others which means that he would be the most willing to do whatever the AIC asked of him to ensure his safety.

And why the hell is Nimah working against her sister and for the AIC? Did she go dark and undercover for the FBI as an operative instead of handler? Or was she recruited by the AIC while Alex and Ryan had attempted to be recruited themselves? 

I can’t wait for next week!!!! x

like in the first episode when he made the other guy commit suicide 

that just seemed too perfect

he pretends to be this loser kid who only gets places because of mommy and daddy 

but in reality

he’s probably the one who made sure his dad died

Theory: The Quantico terrorist isn’t part of the main cast.

I formed this theory while watching episode 5 (when they all go undercover), and a huge part of me wants to believe that the terrorist isn’t a part of the main cast. Let’s look at what everyone’s doing: the FBI is looking at Alex and refusing to look at anyone else. Alex is looking at the classmates who were close to her. We as an audience are looking at the main cast, thinking that one is the real terrorist. 

And we’re all wrong. 

This entire show has demonstrated time and again that what you see is not what you get, and that the obvious choice is not the right choice. If anything, what goes by undetected is the actual answer, and so it may very well be a background character in Quantico. 

The past two episodes have given just a little bit of spotlight on background characters (Brandon Fletcher & Kate). For example, that girl in “Found”, Kate? The camera panned to her about two times, and she was seen being escorted out of the building after her undercover identity was compromised. This is the most we’ve ever seen of the students outside of the main cast, and it seemed interesting to shine even a little light on another student like that. We look at the main cast as the best ones in class, who excel at everything, but what about the side students? What if someone, like Kate (or Kate herself) decided to not make themselves seen too much, to not pass every single test? We, along with the characters, assume it’s someone who was clearly smart, but why would the terrorist present themselves as a valid threat? It makes more sense to not graduate at the top of the class or be seen as something special, but just average, the same as every other graduate, frame the top student in class, the brown girl, and let yourself slip away undetected, and have absolutely nobody suspect or look for you. It’s genius - having the characters/audience accuse different people left and right, only to overlook someone else in the class because they were in the background.
