One day, Samejima came to a shocking realization, one that’d mess with his whole understanding of the world: he almost never talked to his roommates. Now that’s a horrible thing for him to do as a man. Imagine, him not seeking friendship with the people that live with him!

That’s why he came up with this perfect idea to spice things up: a surprise movie night! Yes, my friends, he’s prepared himself beforehand and bought a bunch of snacks and popcorn, besides renting the manliest movies he could think of. It reminded him of the time he had one with Gunha, so it was nice.

Of course, he didn’t tell any of his colleagues about such a plan, but that’s where the fun is. The first person to come home will be his fortunate partner in watching the manliest deeds recorded by cameras. Aaaand looks like he won’t have to wait anymore!

“Sup, dude? Wanna watch some manly movies with me?” Yeah, because everybody would be this carefree with simply go with that.

This wasn’t the Earth she’d been trapped on, or maybe it was.  Things were different when you were finally out of the water, free to find those who’d - no.  She needed to focus on the task at hand.  Get it done, maybe damage something in the process.  This place ticked her off, with all it’s green and life, and Jasper was about to take her wrath out on a nearby green thing when something pink caught her attention instead.

If happiness was a feeling Jasper felt (if she had feelings at all, really, other than extreme wrath) then she was experiancing it now.  That look.  That form.

That Gem.

Reflections | Closed, Rose Quartz

Mike gently closes the door to the house, making his way downstairs without uttering a single word. He knows what’s happening right now in his mind, but he would rather not open his mouth. And as much as he wants to speak deep down, he also knows that the only sound coming from him wouldn’t be words at all.

He also knows that this has been becoming too common of a thing lately, this sneaking out of the house at two, three, four in the morning just to get his mind back on kilter by walking to and around the nearby park. But to him, this was better than talking about his problems to anyone - he’s spent years not letting people know the skeletons in his closet, and there was no way anyone else should know.

That is, until recently. A whole slew of events, all of which swirled in his mind like a car drifting on ice with a locked steering wheel: the fight with Kane, his broken arm, hurting his back, swapping bodies with his boyfriend, finding out secrets he never knew, his boyfriend apparently finding out those aforementioned skeletons...and that’s not even touching the surface.

He takes in a breath of air as he walks, albeit a little shaky. Don’t speak. Just keep walking, he tells himself. But walking for about twenty minutes seemed to be too much for his mind, and he finds himself stopping at a fountain at the entrance to the park, sitting on the ledge and staring at his reflection in the water as his mind continues to spin.

fuck anon, you are undoubtedly one of the most sweetest persons i have ever met, period. you put so much energy into your muses that you portray them even better than their canon does, imo. you're not only a great roleplayer, but a fantastic person as well and i am very glad that i know you.

Pearl recognized those ringlets of pink hair immediately, and the woman's impossibly high stature. Above all, there was a brilliant radiance which exuded from the other, something which no other person or gem could ever attempt to imitate. There was no mistaking who this woman was. Yet Pearl was still suspended in complete and utter disbelief, having not ever anticipated for this day to become a reality.

“Rose, I...” her voice drawled off, tears swelling up in the corners of her eyes..

She had envisioned the impossible circumstance of reuniting with Rose countless times before. She had written scripts in her mind of exactly what she would say, how perfectly articulated their reunion would be. But all those words were lost now, completely swept away by the overwhelming tide of emotion that overtook her now.

“I can’t believe it! It’s you! And you’re...you’re here!” She released a peal of astonished laughter, still uncertain as to whether or not the events unfolding were truly happening. She dabbed at the corners of her eyes with her wrist, dabbing away the tears that had formed from the overwhelming amount of relief and excitement that she felt now.“I thought I was the only one trapped here, but now..."

She did not dare to reach out to the other gem, still afraid that this was all an illusion. If it were, she wanted to stay in this moment, and to cling to the possibility that Rose was really, truly standing before her.

.:[ ★ ☆ ]:. It couldn’t have been her. It couldn’t have been. Though she’d want it to be, but... no. It couldn’t.

The gem known as Rose Quartz, her leader, her mentor... and more than that, she was a comfort to her; a place where she could go to when the others wouldn’t do; a person who was always there for her, for what had seemed like the longest time...

But she knew fully well, that the gem named Rose Quartz--- as much as she’d wish it, that gem was gone.

Then who was this standing in front of her, this pink-and-white person larger than life itself?

She had just talked to Steven the other day, so he couldn’t have been far--- they couldn’t both be here--- but what sense did that make in this nonsense place? Where gems could live beyond their stones? She had met Sugilite--- Sugilite, who was her (and one part Garnet, but--- not important), so what did that make this familiar figure? Was she dreaming this? Was it really her?

Carefully, very carefully, as if one false move would disrupt the image, Amethyst took a uncertain step closer, eyes widening and on the brink of tears.

She would have to breathe it out, her name. It had been so long since the last time, she...

“Rruhh... Rose?”

Please let it be her. She wouldn’t forgive herself if this was just a dream.

      oo6 appeared to be the sole district that offered a clear window of the nighttime sky above, free of the city fumes. Here, the gem found the most solace; however, her peaceful stroll was quickly cut short by the sudden presence of another.

      Lapis froze in place upon realization that this taller woman was not indeed human, but a gem, recognizable from the rose hued gem that protruded from her belly. It was quaintly familiar, however this thought was quickly discarded, quickly exchanged for woe. 

     Over her painful interval of time being encased within a mirror, Homeworld had changed drastically, and so had its inhabitants; her time spent with Jasper and Peridot enough proof of that. Unsure whether this gem was hostile or not, Lapis would turn to face her, face writ with a mixture of emotion. 

     “You’re..”

     “You’re a gem too.”

     She stated the obvious, voice unassertive, fitting the expression plastered upon her face.

Ancient History /\ Rose Quartz

Gathering information is safe, familiar. She knows how to scout, how to write logs and analyze and compile facts. So that’s what Peridot plans to do. She’s just finished creating a detailed account of the current neighborhood when she realizes that... she’s lost.

The only thing to do is ask for directions, it seems. The map she’s working on of the city doesn’t have this area documented entirely yet.

So she picks someone out of the people milling about the quiet street at random.

“Excuse me. I require directions, if you are able to...” She trails off looking the stranger over, noting the gem.

“Are... you a Gem?”
