Sea of Stars: Interlude Part 4

Honor Through Moonlit Dance

(In the banquet Hall of Atlantis)

"All done, Frostine." A warm chuckle escaped the titan's mouth as he just witnessed the feeding of his hybrid 6-month-old daughter. However, some habits never change, as Krystallos still tore up the meat that was provided to make it easier for the baby to feed (she got little chompers that work for a six-month-old hybrid). Watching through gentle glacial eyes, he gently picked up Frostine and tapped her back, gently burping her to release gas buildup from her stomach. And from the way that this little demititan devoured the meal presented to her, with the addition of milk...It is very much needed.

"Papa, thought you were going to accidentally choke on your food, little one." The Ice King spoke, his voice gentle like a refreshing breeze yet warm as the first sunrise. Nuzzling Frostine when she made happy babbling sounds, Krystallos exhaled as he managed to sneak something to eat for himself while feeding his daughter (Let's just say he hadn't eaten in a while... That's all I'm saying).

When Frostine began to curl up close to her father's chest, it was a common sign that she was ready for her nap. "Alright, let's get you settled." Getting up from the chair he was sitting in the palace's banquet hall, which he was allowed to use through the permission of Starseidon. But looking up through a window that peered into the sea, a gentle sigh escaped. "The full moon rises..." Krystallos spoke with a reverent, yet known sadness that is present in his tone. "It's time then."

(Five snow fairies later.)

"Star...Will you slow down?" The voice of QuasarsHades rang out as he tried to keep up with one of his younger brothers, Starseidon. Ever since the fiasco with NovaZeus, QuasarsHades went to apologize on the youngest brother's behalf to Krystallos after sending the King of the Gods to the Zodiac realm (Enjoy your present, Aquarius ;3), thinking that the titan's heat was taken care of. That proved to be wrong, as he found his middle brother ripping into a servant about letting his new lover leave Atlantis without his permission. "

Now QuasarsHades has to deal with a very pissed-off and impatient younger brother who is holding the titan's hybrid 6-month-old baby near his bosom to keep her from crying. "Just like Polyphemus." The King of the Underworld chuckled to himself while continuing to walk, "The poor thing must have horrible separation anxiety after waking up from her nap without her dad." But looking back at Starseidon, the King of the Underworld's thoughts shifted from being reminded of his cyclops nephew to "I wish I stayed home."

"I will not slow down, Hades." Starseidon finally responded, trying to keep it together, when actually his impatience is growing to the max...Holding his titan lover's child is helping, but not that much (Star please...Fight the power...You'll get spicy tango later >:^.).

"Papa escaped again?!" A familiar voice rang out as Eva teleported with Demetri, trying to hold her back from going off the handle.

"Eva, please calm down." The Dragon Goddess said as the Goddess of Lust began to wiggle around like an otter caught in a net.

"Demetri let go...I have to drag Papa back to Father." Eva said, trying to get out of her protector's grip, yet pouted when she was not able to.

"I know Eva...Uncle is becoming a real pain right now." Demetri sighed while keeping an eye on Eva...Making sure she doesn't disappear on her. "We'll find him."

"And once we do, that titan is in so much trouble." Starseidon huffed in irritation, causing his older brother to sigh in defeat.

(Meanwhile at the beach)

"This brings back memories." Standing alone on the cool shoreline with thoughts of the past, Krystallos gazed up at the silver glow emitting from the moon, remembering the only two times when he last danced. Once, he danced in honor of Starseidon's and Fishyseidon's relationship; the other was more of a ritual that he did in honor of the mortal woman who passed away in his arms, near the sea that the titan once loved to be around.

Taking off the cloak that resembled a void without light, the clothing underneath was both simple and elegant, with the color of glacial ice turning into a darker blue further down the outfit, representing the ocean depths. There was a silver accent to the outfit, making it look like falling snow. Krystallos' hair was braided to keep it out of his face. The titan also wore a silver circlet with a simple moonstone center. To be honest, this combination made the titan appear more feminine; along with the lean figure, he could very much pass for a woman (not that he cared). But the feeling of being watched instantly turned into feelings of distaste and annoyance, "This is not the first time that this happened." These were the thoughts of the Ice King as he rubbed his temples, already plotting something to get rid of those who dared to lay eyes on him. "Guess I have to deal with the interlopers now before I can do my performance or anything else, really."

"Care to dance on this fine moonlit night?" The Ice King asked, voice soft spoken and paired with a warm, yet charming smile as he turned his head to face the nearest intruder, but what he saw next made him go pale and raise his eyebrow in confusion. "Starseidon." The titan began to speak. "Why do you look like you wish to devour me whole?"

After feeding his 6-month-old daughter, a full moon arises, and memories must be honored. But leaving the underwater palace without a word and a search, Krystallos may have gotten more than he bargained for, especially when seen in clothing that makes him more appealing, and this time, there is no getting out of this one (Enjoy your Christmas present, Star ;3) Starseidon and QuasarsHades belong to @aquariusthevisionary

Sea of Star's Interlude: Part 5

More chaos and a whale's song

In a dense forest miles away from the beach, from where the titan once stood, the thoughts of Krystallos are currently in panic mode: "How feral is this Sea God?!!! This is just a dress!!!" they screamed into the endless chaos of the mind during the predicament that has occurred. A few moments ago, Starseidon actually pounced on Krystallos, but to the sea god's displeasure, his titan lover had him in his arms (Jumped right into that one, Star).

"Put me down, Krystallos." The Sea God demanded, "I've told you countless times before that I hate being picked up and the reason for it."

"You did this to yourself when pouncing on me, you feral sea god." Krystallos retorted, but no malice was found in his voice. Just a calmness that is trying to de-escalate the situation, which only heightened the annoyance from the Sea God he is holding.

"Put me down, or I'll tell Luna to bite your ankles." Starseidon threatened, only narrowing his eyes when his titan lover raised his brow. "What? Don't think I'll do it?" He asked, a smug smirk appearing from the corner of his mouth.

"No...I'm just thinking about the possibility that Luna will have a nasty experience with the nebula toxin within my blood." The titan said, gaze turning to his sea god lover... The smug smirk turned into a cold scowl. "Maybe I shouldn't have said that," Krystallos said internally when seeing the expression on Starseidon's face...It was not pretty.

"Not a wise move in threatening your lover's children, unless you want to lose him faster than you got him." A familiar voice spoke. earning a sigh from the ice king. (Smug and arrogant as always...How did he get out of the Zodiac realm >:^ ).

"I was not threatening Luna, Lord NovaZeus." The titan sighed, turning his head to face the God King. "I'm just warning Starseidon that if he goes through with this, Luna will end up hurt by the nebula toxin that resides in my blood...A gift from your Uncle Koios."

The two gods then glared when Krystallos mentioned Koios, the older brother of the two, who spoke up. QuasarHades was listening to the conversation. "I'm surprised you are not feeling the effects. after having it within your body for quite a while now," The King of the Underworld commented, earning a confused look from his two younger brothers before looking back at Krystallos...More like NovaZeus looked confused at the titan...Starseidon, on the other hand, turned into a possessive barnacle clinging to the former executioner (May have dug his sharp nails into the scars on his lover's back without knowing...Not that Krystallos will tell his lover that hurts out loud).

"I may have made it my own in a way," Krystallos said, his voice taking a much more sheepish tone, "And kind of built up immunity to it, but it was much more slowler then expected." The admission was there, but seeing the Big Three locking eyes on him. As if the brothers are processing what was said by the titan.

"So hypothetically..." NovaZeus began slowly, but the tone of his voice instantly caused Krystallos eyes to slowly change. "You would be able to inflict the same toxin as Koios?" the god king asked, waiting for the answer of the titan that Starseidon chose as his lover.

"Nova." Starsiedon hissed, looking at his younger brother with a scowl as QasuarHades gave him a disapproving gaze, but the God king waited for an answer.

With an exhale of cold air, Krystallos looked Nova Zeus in the eyes and gave him an answer, "Yes. Freezing would also be an added side effect on my part."

"Well, aren't you being honest today?" The smirk on NovaZeus' face began to rub Krystallos the wrong way...Like any smirk on Zeus would. "And here I thought you would actually..." he paused, extending the sentence to make a point.

"He wanted me to deny it and then lie. Like I did in the past," Krystallos said internally, gritting his teeth, but he already had a question of his very own, just in case. "So, you disapprove of me being your brother's lover?" Still keeping his gaze on the God King, as the silence between the three brothers stretched to an uncomfortable length. Krystallos, however, waited for the answer he knew was the truth and wanted to hear it for himself. When there was no answer given, the titan put Starseidon down and managed to get the Sea god's nails out of his back via a forehead kiss (Blushy Tsuntsun Star is a cute Star <3) before disappearing into the wind itself.

"Uncle NovaZeus." A hiss escaped, causing the God King to groan...Knowing that it was his niece who tormented him.

"Yes, Eva." The God King responded, giving a forced smile that didn't reach his eyes (Cue the chaos that happened after word).

"Why didn't I just go home?" QuasarHades lamented, hearing the screaming match between Eva and NovaZeus. Though he raised his brow when Demitri sighed and rubbed her temples. "Something the matter, Demitri?" The Lord of the Underworld, as the Dragon Goddess, approached, holding the demititan infant, the daughter of Krystallos.

"Eva tried using her powers on Krystallos. But..." Demitri paused for a moment. "Eva ended up using it on Starseidon instead." The dragon goddess sighed as QuasarHades facepalmed, groaning in annoyance.

"My guess is that Star went to find Krystallos?" The Lord of the Dead asked.

"Yep," Demitri responded, but then she turned her gaze to him. "Not only that, but....I felt a presence near the beach off of Ithaca. It felt almost like Star's but different...Like it's searching for someone."

"Searching?" QuasarHades questioned, as the interest of Eva and NovaZeus was piqued as well. "Searching for who?"

(Meanwhile, on a boat off the shores of Ithaca.)

Sitting on a fishing boat in his mortal form, Krystallos sighed, looking at the horizon as the sun began to set. Beautiful colors of oranges, pinks, and purples filled the sky as the disguised titan began to calm the raging emotions within his being. Even though NovaZeus' silence was uncomfortable, it told him everything he needed to know. "I shouldn't be surprised." He sighed, placing his cheek on the railing of the boat while other mortals prayed to Poseidon (Starseidon in this case) for a good catch of fish.

As time went by, a beautiful, yet haunting melody was heard from above the waves, causing both the disguised titan and mortals to tilt their heads in confusion and awe.

"Was that a whale?" A mortal male in his late 40's asked the rest of his crew. Krystallos, on the other hand, looked down into the sea, hearing the calls of the whale as if recognizing the sound.

"Eleutheros, where are you going, lad?" another mortal called out as the disguised titan ran to the helm of the ship, panicked and certain.

"There's no mistake, but how the hell did he find me?" The disguised titan said within his thoughts before stopping at the helm of the ship, and with his sky blue eyes, gazed right at the one making those whale sounds...A large man with the color of grey for skin and black for locks, looking down with a warm gaze as the man named Eleutheros looked up.

"It's been a long time since I last saw you...Love." The man lowered his face closer, eyes the color of the clearest ocean water locked on Eleutheros, a powerful tail fluke curled around the fishing boat, making sure it didn't move.

Krystallos, in his mortal disguise, breathed, as almost a faint whisper, eyes widening in surprise and shock, seeing a ghost from his past. The one that left him the trident scar on his lower chest area, "Ren."

Tension blooms into chaos follows as a lover's spat runs into a question that a certain God King doesn't answer...But as Krystallos left to calm his nerves, a familiar ghost from his past found the ice king while fishing with mortals. Someone that he never thought he would ever see again. Especially after that fateful day. The day that his previous lover left him for dead by his own hand...(Hopefully, Starseidon doesn't freak out and get possessive when his other self tries to get back with Krystallos...Even though his other self is the reason why there is a scar on the ice king's lower chest.)

(Poseidonverse meet Sirenposeidon, or Renseidon for short...He is based on the Humpback whale due to the haunting yet beautiful melodies that whales can produce, sirens, deceptively calm water (With dangerous currents underneath), and the whale from the story Moby Dick :3...But he still has that nasty temper and a deep, bordering obsessive grudge against Odysseus...Odys...Please do not go near this one if you wish to live T3T...)
