Me: *frowns judgmentally back* I'll pay with debit, thanks.

Cashier: *hands me back and glares* Passez une bonne journée

Me: *glares back* Thanks, you too.

like tbh english is such a wonderful language??? the words are aesthetically pleasing??? the syntax is simple and cool??? i know it v well and can show off whenever i want??? but at the same time fuck anglos???

i wish theyd taught me another language in primary school instead
