its just never not going to be funny to me that my canonical most attractive character in WoD the only mf with 5 appearance actively hates just about everyone and wants them dead but especially men -- lavinia is canonically a misandrist and is adamant that there are no good men. two guys have tried in-game and both have... had... bad times.
lavinia takes tremere and giovanni men and impales them with sharp objects before slowly letting them sink into the ocean. she likes to find mages and hunt them for a while until they're almost mad with paranoia before she comes out of the dark and does horrible horrible horrible things to them
and when she gets lucky enough to find a hunter that's a man, lavinia makes that last a long, long time. that's the guy who gets to see the mind-horrors as lavinia makes him see what it was like to live when she did. to quote a skynd song i like hurting little things that can't fight back. lavinia likes to get these guys -- even the ones that mean well -- in positions where they can't fight her, and then she takes them apart, slow. she took her first victims as a human, during the regency era, but --
she was also subjected to corrective assault several times when she was a mortal woman during the regency era. mortal life was not kind to her, and undeath was even less so. it's turned lavinia into a really fuckin nasty woman who somehow has an absolute fucking goober of a childe.
in my reworked personal vampire lore, lavinia hails from the lineage that's commonly known as Vibores, but the line originated with the sabine women. got that whole thing going on where it's a curse and you only want to give it to a woman who has suffered enough in mortal life to be better off with the undead curse.
she's one of my favorite vampires because she's genuinely got a lot going on. whole thing happened with her and the malkavian primogen lady in the first camarilla city that lavinia took shelter in.
