what happened with Loo don't be telling me some johnlock fetishizing asshats did something to her [gets out gun]
I reblogged a post about it a little while ago that explains it well, but basically Loo made two really cute tweets about how that Oxford Dictionary blog used Sherlock and Molly as their example for the definition of shipping, and she got FLOODED with entitled pissbabies screaming at her for being "wrong". It's a fucking embarrassment.

I'm such an easygoing shipper who is happy to indulge /almost/ any pairing on a whim, so all the ship drama really unnerves me. So many posts floating around that make me feel bad for not being adamantly for one or the other. Not a nice thing.
Believe me hun, you are not the only person to feel that way. I ship what I ship and I guess I feel rather strongly about it, but these people literally do not understand what shipping is supposed to be. It doesn't matter to me one bit what other people are doing or feeling or shipping, and the fact that a bunch of pathetic, immature babies are actively ruining it for other people just makes me so sad I don't even know how to deal with it.

hyperaggressive entitlement mentality. i picked the wrong hiatus to get into tumblr.
I hate to say it but...yeah. Of the three hiatuses I've been around for this is SO the worst, to the point that it's driven me away from being involved with the fandom. I have pretty much no desire left to interact or create, and it's entirely because of how awful people are being. Thanks, fandom.
