Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt that about the Red Queen series! I think I’m gonna try to pull through with it though because I hate leaving books left half read. Oh! I didn’t know that about Mass, that is definitely interesting! Thank you for letting me know! <3 Yes okay The Love Hypothesis is so good! Think... Enemies to lovers, fake dating, mutual pining, and a dash of like idk what to call it but school competition. OH! And there is a tall, dark haired, not really morally gray but kinda love interest! There is like the smallest part in it that made me feel icky, but it truly isn’t that bad - its like 2 or 3 pages. I truly love it! I 100% suggest reading it for yourself! Okay so definitely do not read good morning monster!! Like stay away from it. The basis of the story was that hero’s aren’t simply defined by capes but by going through something traumatic and pulling through. And also show that trauma isn’t just like super super dark, but that it is so common anyone can have it. It Ends With Us is on my tar, but I haven’t found it at the library yet (the one here is gigantic!) I literally cannot wait to read it!I have heard so much about it. I haven’t read anything by her yet, but I am really wanting to there are so many books of hers on my tar. And The Selection!!! I have been dying to read those, but the library where I used to live never had the first one! And I usually will buy a series if I like the first book, so I will have to see if my new library has it!!! <333

oohh it ends with us is soo so so good, I do suggest to read the trigger warnings first (I think it's just the physical abuse and mentions of death but nothing too major) and the selection is actually a comfort series omg, I love big libraries!!! It's so comforting <33 we have bookstores but libraries are to just rent out or burrow books for a week or so, and every time I go to the bookstore every Leigh Bardugo book is sold out its soooo annoying 😭😭😭 hopefully you have better luck getting your own books bae <3

I am gonna die, I didn’t want to read a long series!!! I’m gonna cry because I started The Cruel Prince, Red Queen, Touch of Darkness, and Shatter me, only to find out they are all series lmao. Turns out I will be reading some series! I am interested to read it though, isn’t the main love interest like Aaron or something?? YESSS Six of Crows duology is literally sooo good, that has to be up there in my favorites! I feel that, and honestly that is what got me out of my reading slump! I read Six of Crows in 2 days, but then Crooked Kingdom took my like a month to get through the first bit because it moves slow. But at some point it gets good and you get like sooooooo invested! Trust me, I think this is going to get you out fo your slump! Currently my favorites have to be the ACOTAR ( A Court of Thorns and Roses series) though the last book, A Court of Silver Flames, is my absolute favorite! It is about the main character’s sister, and I really resonated with her story — literally had me sobbing at midnight one time. Another book I love is The Love Hypothesis, it’s a book tok one that I questioned and couldn’t decide whether or not to read. But once I did I quite literally fell in love, and like it kinda made me fall in love with the scholarly life again. A really heavy and like crazy book is called good morning monster. Goodness gracious, I read this for a school project and it threw me. It is about a therapist and her 5 most brave patients, it was literally so hard to get through but honestly so worth it (though read the trigger warnings, or the summary of it if you consider reading it because I didn’t, I never read trigger warnings because I- I’m not sure why, but I really wish I did. There is some really dark stuff.) Another book I love currently is called sincerely by F.S, Yousaf, it is a poetry book a friend gave to me as a going away present and it was amazing! <3

I started the red queen too but the second book dragged on so I left it, I'm gonna pick it back up at some point but not rn, I've heard about the cruel prince and it's definitely on my tbr list. all these books I've heard about but there is no way I'm ever gonna continue reading acotar, I'm actually trying to sell the first three books of the series cuz ik the author is like racist and stuff so definitely gonna stay away from her writing 😬 I've heard so many mixed reviews of the love hypothesis that idk what to believe 😭 guess I'll have to buy the book and read it myself which hopefully I will sometime soon, maybe over the summer but idk.

I hate dark books omg 😭😭 but here's a book with some trigger warnings that j found absolutely wonderful; it ends with us. One of the best books I have ever read in my entire life and Co. Ho. Is like the best author I've heard about to date omg 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 also recommend the selection series, it may be a cliché but it's so good and the ending was so satisfying 😩😩😩

Lol, I totally feel that!! Yeah kinda, I missed the last week of the marking period for the first quarter and the first week of the second marking quarter. So that I kinda got a pass on, I was passing most of my classes anyways. But after that I was just kinda done. Seeing as it was my first real year back at school and all my mental health stuff, plus the moving stuff. I kinda gave up and only cared about at least passing my classes, so honestly not much work was actually done. YESSSS I literally love bookshelves!! I have 4 currently but only 3 are full. I love the sound of your library!!!! WAIT Shatter Me is apart of a series?!? I just bought the book Shatter ME!

SHATTER ME IS A VERY LONG SERIES BUT I'VE ONLY READ THE FIRST 2 BOOKS NSJSJDJD I've heard it's so good and the actual love interest is indeed an interesting character and I'm so excited to read more about him + read the six of crows duology because it's the only thing that's gonna get me out of this reading slump that has been going on for MONTHS now 😩😩😩 what are your favorite books on your shelves rn?
