Kea Split

So, I wanted to redraw an old inktober drawing, which was one of my ocs split into her two main roles. Here it is! (With alternatives/full details under the cut)

I wanted to play around with the Loomis method to see how much I remembered and uh. I think I remembered a good bit.

And it turned to Kea to play with some features

Baby

Basically, I wanted to write what various characters would do if they found a baby

Kea:

Hears the crying and follows it

when she finds the baby, she picks them up

Is completely lost on what to do otherwise

Takes them back and asks someone else to care for the baby

Current:

Her namesake warns her

she goes and finds the child

scoops them up and immediately starts rocking them back and forth

“Alright sweetie. I’ve got you. let me see if I can’t find you some food to start with”

fully ready to raise the child herself

Is convinced otherwise by her brothers

Ends up giving the baby to one of the guards who really wanted a child but hadn’t been given the chance

Aria:

When she stumbles across the child she immediately reaches out to see what the problem is

coos softly as she gets what she needs to solve it

“It’s been a while since I’ve cared for a baby. So bear with me sweetheart”

is often seen afterwards with the baby somehow connected to her

either in an arm

or balanced on a hip

or in a sling

Protects the child with her life

As soon as the baby can walk

teaches them how to call her if they get lost

Responsible parent 10/10

Kat

Completely lost

hears the child and finds them stuck

carefully disentangles them

Cradles them carefully as she flies home

Hands them immediately to her uncles

“Look, I’m 16. And I can barely keep track of my own health. So there’s the baby you were hoping for”

Lune

"I’m 7. Someone else take this”

Delphine/Huntress

Brings the child back to her dad

“You adopted me. Here’s another child”

Disappears for hours as he figures it out

Comes back with supplies to care for the baby

“Might as well help. Long as they never know I found them”

Delphine Jade

Like Current, immediately launches into finding food

gives the baby everything she can

Never lets anyone else touch the baby

Becomes less defensive as she settles into her new home

But needs to have her baby in sight at all times

Girl is super protective

And Newer OCs not yet given content:

Kai

Finds the baby and immediately picks them up

Returns to end’s friends, who immediately question ender

“I may be 17, but this is my child now” 

is fully ready to quit enders job and raise the baby

(End’s convinced not to)

Eo

They immediately scoop the baby up

And run to their friend 

“Look!!!! I found a baby! Can I help raise it?”

Everyone is hesitant because this kid is really excitable

And has a tendency of exploding things

But they’re really careful with the baby

Often will take them back and forth between people’s house at night

since it’s safer with them

The baby ends up calling them “mama” 

And they love it

Dani/Nonny

Immediately adopts the child

shows Nonny

who agrees that yes it is their child

the pair of them are so sweet to the baby

and raise them to be responsible and self sufficent

and they’re so gentle

Rarely raise their voices

refuse to let some of the neighbors visit until the baby is older

teach them immediately how to deal with some of the extended family

Are so happy when their little one is ready for their own adventures

kay, so. Who the frack are Assane, Kea???, and Ragna. Or Adima!

Okay, so short answer anon? A bunch of characters I made. Long answer under the cut

So, Assane is from an original story currently titled Translator (which if you go to my writing blog @grouptalekindnesssoulstories you can search up the chapters under that name). She has a foot in both worlds of my creating. She’s half Aquarisni and Half homokra. Featuring an original language by me! (Also two lesbians who by the magic of being the author had a kid together without any outside influence needed)

Queen Kea. Not exaaactly an original character? She began as a self insert into a series coughMinecraftDiariescough and devolped from there. A warrior queen in a matriarchal country, as well as a guard, a powerful mage, and runaway princess. (if you want more detail, send another ask specifically about her)

Ragna is another character I made for an original story. I was severely depressed at the time and thought what would happen if Death needed someone to ferry troublesome souls? So she occasionally helps in the demiworld. But Life and Death are married and very happy together!

Adima, my daughter of Herobrine (I was 10 don’t judge). Her name began as ‘Diamond’ And my lil brain was like “Diamond is too simple. Let’s remove that -ond, squish an a in front, move that m between the vowels. Adima! Perfect!”. Which is why I say she’s a virus. :p

your style is so cool! never say youre mediocre because youre INCREDIBLE! i wish i could do realism as wellas you ;o;!!! keep drawing!! as for a prompt... do you have any ocs?? drw your favorite one!

Anyways, here's two of my oldest ocs. On the left is Queen Kea of Tu'ula, and on the right is Lady Aria.

HEY. Hey you. What ocs have you been using the most recently? Tell me about em 👀 I wanna hear about people's characters/stories

Thank you! I’ll gladly rant tell you about them!

First is Lady Aria Francis. She’s the younger sister of twins, Damien, and Carlo (both lords). She is a time-jumper, (really close to Lady Time too). She’s dating Death, who she calls Dea. She is very closed off because she remembers all of her 3 lives. It’s part of the blessing/curse of telepathy, and an ingrained knowledge of languages. She actually doesn’t like to stay in her natural form, since all people from her time can morph if they are given a form. The form she favors is of a childhood friend who died young, and gifted Aria her form as a way to remember her. Her friend was reborn as Aria’s youngest daughter too! She attends the same school as her brothers, their friends, and Dea. She actually at the end of her 2nd life took her brothers and left them in the future so they could live better lives, then died. 

The other is Queen Kea Mefi. (her full name is long, so I won’t include it). She is the only daughter of Queen Sapphire, and so the throne of Tu’ula is hers. The throne has always passed to daughters of the Mefi line. Since Tu’ula’s founding, the people have always approved the line to continue ruling. The people decide at the coronation if they want the Princess as their next queen, and the majority vote wins. At 13 she ran away from home to become a guard until around her 17th birthday when she became queen. She ran away because her father was seeking more and more power, and both she and her mother were afraid for her safety. She moved around a lot, for fear of her father finding her. She doesn’t think she should be Queen, but her people love her after her father’s rule. 

There are more like Zyrxia Enotuvra, Assane, Delphine Jade, Delphine/Huntress and a loooot more.

Princess/Queen Kea: Nicknames: Kea or Katie, Height: 5′10″, Appearance: a tall, fit young woman, Green eyes and blonde hair, half the time her dark green ears and tail are visible, Powers: has a relic that strengths peaceful magic and has vast powers of her own. Jobs: guard, queen

Lady Aria: Name: Aria Francis, Height: 5′7″, appearance: a slender, fair young woman with old blue eyes, blonde hair and pointed ears, powers: telepathic, can speak any language
