As a Sansa Stan, I couldn’t be happier for her being Queen In The North. It was my shows dream since s6 and I was enraged that title was robbed in a favor of Jon and the insult to being the only legitimate heir to both Lord Eddard and Lady Catelyn. I cheered and was in awe of Sansa being hailed Queen In The North and how beautiful and utterly ethereal she looked in the white dress. Even though I got a nice single beautiful slice of the cake I always wanted but everything else is shit.

Especially when Sam talked about letting the common people choose, finally the writers are recognizing the root of GRRM original vision of the oppressive ruling class over the common people. But no, it lasts only for a second and the rest laughs and jeers how utterly ridiculous that sounds. Lord Yon Royce makes a snide comment that he should let his horses vote as well. Like the Lords and Ladies view the common people as the same value as cattle. That they’re akin to animals.

Sansa, fucking Sansa had a small wry smirk and almost laughing at that. Like it was a private joke??? D&D already destroyed many amazing characters and made them ooc but you would believe Sansa would think people’s voting was a joke?

The reason she wanted the North to be independent so she can protect her people! Fucking Sansa, who wanted to spent possibly her last night eating soup with the common people before winter came. Sansa who was willing to throw down in the crypt to protect her people with a single shard of dragon glass. And she smirked!

But not just Sansa that was ooc in this but Arya, Gendry, Brienne?

Arya, the girl who spent seasons watching the brutality of the common people get killed, raped, homes and lands destroyed and has walked among them. Gendry, who grew up in Flea Bottom and grew among the poor wretches of society. Brienne, who was the only epitome of a true knight should be had defended the weak and all three of them said nothing or defended Sam’s suggestion.

It was truly disgusting and it all rubbed me the wrong way. Everything is meant to destroying the wheel has already been built again, a bit smaller but also brand new with few adjustments but there’s still a wheel. Nobody is free from it. Sansa deserves to be Queen and no doubt she’ll be a loving one that puts her people first but she’s still part of the wheel and as for Bran I just don’t know.

D&D truly destroyed what breaking the wheel meant and fixing the broken system and making things better for everyone. The show is supposed to tell the story of our current society structure and support that us, the regular folks hold the real power and we get to choose and decide. To bad the show’s message basically says that we are delusional and have no power and it’s the rich and the powerful that get to decide for us. Fuck this show.
